Greatest Fantasy Line-up for HSP?
 

Well, here's is another reincarnation of my previous attempt to ask this question. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] This time it's rephrased as the greatest fantasy line-up for HSP?:

Seat 3: Phil Ivey

Seat 5: Brad Booth
Seat 6: Daniel Negreanu
Seat 7: Gus Hansen
Seat 8: Antonio Esfandiari

Seat 10: Patrick Antonius/David Benyamin/Ted Forrest (any of the 3)

I would like to mix some of the tourney players you alluded to in the other thread in with the some of the best pros and a couple of gamble gamble guys.

Hellmuth / Gordon / Matusow / Harrington
Brunson / Reese / Greenstein / Forrest /
Farha / Elezera

As far as entertainment value goes i have loved most of the lineups except for having Wasicka / Chen / and even though he's a good player i find Esfandiari kind of annoying...

I think a MINIMUM $250,000 buyin would also make the game more exciting. Any all-in pot, would be close to half a million!

I know, not very creative. But I can really do without the constant speeches of Negreanu, Farha and Elezra. BTW, the single player I would miss most from that lineup is Forrest.

I didn't think Johnny Chan was still as good in poker as he was back in the day...? Is he still a top NLHE live cash game player?

(I ain't saying he sucks, just not as dominant)

HSP is not complete without Mike Matusow. I think last weeks line up was one of the best since season 1..

Guys like Negreanu and Matusow are entertaining for some, but I want to see a table that's really the best NLH players the world has to offer, and from what I know, this comes pretty close.

OK, I'll do the whole list:

Barry Greenstein / Ted Forrest / Gus Hansen (only one of them plays at any one point)

The rest throw in some of the good aggro Internet players, like Fast Freddy, durr, lolotrickedu, em or smth. - I don't know how they would look live so cannot pick.

Jamie Gold brought in for short part of the season as I like to see him lose but he gets too annoying fast. Basically for that part only show hands where he loses more than $10k, and compress it all in one episode and then be done with it. And he has to say "I have top top" at least once.

Sammy Farha brought in for part of the season, but not full as he is not good enough but spices up the game.

And play like 7-handed or so, so it's not too nitty. And half the season is the donkfest with Farha, tuff_fish and Gold and another half the good game like last 3 HSP3 episodes. The good game takes up the majority of the episodes and shows most hands which were more than "one player raises, everybody else folds".

Gabe and Benza can only speak when the players aren't speaking and they shouldn't advice on the plays to take as they are wrong too often.
