Best league is 1-C 2-1B 1-2B 1-SS 2-3B 1-MI 5-OF 1-Util 3-SP 2-RP 3-P 3 Spots for the bench

This is perfect for a 10 team league, use 5x5 scoring except change avg to either OBP or OPS. Adjust the number of positions based on number of people

I am DEFINITELY in. I would be up for any amt up to 1k.

Lets run it on ESPN though, their fantasy site is much better than Yahoo.

I also would prefer more players per team rather than less.

has to do with the depth of the position. You want to go deep in positions so you get the fun and talent of finding sleepers but not so deep that everyone is equally [censored]

Ok guys, we need to do this fast. Following Cornell Fiji advise, I created a league in ESPN.
Live draft time so far: Saturday March 31, 8:45PM ET

10 teams (a team may have 2 owners), first come first served, I decided a $250 fee, please send it to sirio11 in Stars or sirio11 in Full Tilt (payouts will be in Stars though). After you send the money, send me a PM with your name and email to send you the invite.

14 hitters v 8 pitchers? I would rather that we have a few more arms on the roster (maybe 3 more that can be SP or RP?).

I woudl also like 4 or 5 more bench players. The nice thing about a bigger bench is if you do not care you can just autodraft the last couple rounds but if you have to have Melky Cabrera on your team because you think that he will break out you can stick around and get him.

you can't have more pitchers, the pool just isn't deep enough.. 3 bench is a decent bench but i always like more.. i'm still deciding if i want to pony up the $$$ for this

I personally find it to be not as much fun when everyone has a team of allstars but there is no reason for me to debate this with you if you are not even going to play in the league.

Settings are not final, and we can still change them if we want to.
Is $250 too much? Since only 10 people (at most) in the league I taught it was a good amount, but let me know if you want less.

About the draft time, I think there is some time still left in ESPN (like at 11:45PM), I used 8:45PM because that was the only proposal we have up to that point.

I like a bigger bench too by the way.

Don't consider changing the time for me, I'll be too busy celebrating the Bruin victory to draft at any time Saturday night. I really don't need another league anyway, and would feel bad taking your money again David.

I would prefer that we keep both the draft time and buy in as is. I can't start the draft any earlier; I could go later but I would like to be able to go out after the draft and 11:45 pretty much kills that idea.

Then again I am not a big NCAA guy so I am perfectly content just half watching the game in my room as I draft.

How many confirmed people do we have so far sirio?

Hi guys,

I would be willing to do this, up to 500 bucks if someone with a low post count is welcomed. I would prefer roto 5x5 with standard positions, one or two utilities, and about 6 pitching slots. I would also highly, highly prefer yahoo. Let me know details reached upon, and pm me if you need one more.

Not to be a dick... but I don't think that I would be interested in doing it for $50.

If there was groundswell support for the league to only be $50 then feel free to ship my cash back and kick me from the league and run it for $50. I would have literally zero problem if you wanted to do this as I already am in a couple leagues.

Changes look good to me.

Since we have a 1B/3B slot I don't think that we also need to have 2 1Bs, that is a little bit of overkill.

Also... feel free to post some pics and bump the OOT thread already linked in this thread to help generate interest. I don't post in BBV but maybe one of the regulars wants to xpost this in their forum too. It will hard to find people to join immediately before the draft so sirio needs to fill this league tonight or it is probably going to struggle getting off the ground.
