Going to Vagas - Need Some Info
 

Heading to Vegas this weekend with the wife for a little mini-vacation and it will be the 1st time I've been there in 7 years. I could probably find this info by searching, but I'm short on time. Anyway, I have a few questions:

1 - Where are some good tourneys. I hear Caesar's has some running now - is this true, and does anyone else have any going.

2 - Cash games - Where are the best NL cash games. I've heard the Belagio (spelling?) has good games running - anywhere else?

2 - Are there any $1/$2 tables anywhere. The wife wants to play so I told her that I would track down a $1/$2 table so we could play together. This to me would be an absolute blast - getting hammered w/ the wife and watching her play $1/$2. I will take plenty of pictures of course and have told her I need one picture with her wearing sunglasses Cool so she looks like a T.V. poker noob. Would be very cute though!!!

Only 24/7 small stakes game I know of is the 1-3 spread HE at the excalibur.

i think luxor has 1/2 limit, not sure how often it runs.

the smallest limit game i know of is at alladin which has a 3/6 limit, it was hard for me to find anything smaller when i was there last week. the alladin also has some low cost tournaments all throughtout the day monday to friday, 40 and 60 but the levels are way short 15 and 20 minute levels. as i understand it the wynn and ceasars have decent size tournies with longer levels so try those out.

I have never played there but I thought that Luxor had 1/2 and 2/4 limit. Can anyone confirm?

the 1/2 at luxor only happens after their "poker school" type thing. they teach you how to play and then turn it into a 1/2 game. don't know how bad it would be to sit through though. 2/4 tables are easy to find. i recommend mgm and luxor for those limits.

think the school runs some time early afternoon on most days at luxor, but you'll have to double check.

try the Golden Nugget downtown there are good cash games $1 and $2 Also good tournies lots of loose players.
