I think he puts you on exactly what you have, and is hoping you make a mistake in calling here, I can't see him playing any hand this way really, as bluffing in this spot is just retarded so he won't be doing it a lot. If you called you probably got shown a set here.

If it's a lay down it's a really really tough one. I would call this most of the times depending on the timing of his push.

It really isnt that hard to lay this one down, if he did not have anything i think he would have bet the turn to represent an ace after your weak check on the flop, for me a check may reprsent his trap and therefore it is an easy lay down on the river as two pair is not that strong.

I agree, I'd call vs. an unknown here. I think everyone's giving him way too much credit by expecting him to put us on exactly AK. As played, wouldn't villain be correct to push the river with A6 anyways?
