iPoker card mods? (cash reward)
 

The iPoker standard cards arent doing it for me.

Anything better on the eyes, with easier to read numbers for using the minitable view is required.

Will start bidding at $20 for better cards (preferably of the uno mod variety).

Having to double glance at my hand to make sure my 88 is 88 and not 68 is really annoying.

agree the 8 is impossible, I have to check my cards in the chat window sometimes. I'll chip in another $20.

Fwiw, if someone can make a simple background too thatd rule. Something like the blue table of bluesquare (minus the logo) but with a black or grey floor too.

If anyone can at least tell me what program i can open and edit the image files i can do most of this myself.

Ive tried in MS Paint but no ball, if it works with photoshop or something ill download a trial and spend an evening making it better. If you show me what to use i can do most of it myself.

The files are jpegs but with altered extension to prevent opening and modification

Bumping.

Fwiw, ive played a couple sites and some have better images than others.

Betfreds are ok - certainly better than Bluesq and i guess most iPoker sites use the same images as BlueSq.

I know the site overhauled the software a lot when they joined the network and they probably led the way with a lot of features for the network.

That said, if anyone knows any way or how to modify the images im increasing the bounty to $50, putting it up to $90.

I've tried opening the images in various editing programs and none work, so they aren't your standard jpg format. If they are some proprietary file type then I don't think there is much hope of a mod

This is a Windows program making all things for you. You need only 3 pictures with your favourite table looks and card mods. Since now modifying iPoker skins is not a problem [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I am not sure, but I saw strange betting amounts on the iPoker Tables. Maybe there is a such Tool anywhere on the internet.

This is what happens when I mod the client and fire up sit n gos:

There are two rectangular areas that aren't covered by the table/background mod in the upper left and lower right corners. The mod looks fine on my computer when I open cash game tables, the problem only occurs for sure during sngs. I haven't tried an mtt yet.

Edit to add: I should also mention that I only tried the sit n gos using mini view, so I don't know if the problem also occurs in classic view or not. I'm done playing for today but I can verify this tomorrow.

Those rectangles are another pictures, drawn by the client program above main picture. The left-top covers the word 'rake' and the right-bottom is the image of disabled button 'auto post'. So you don't see them in a ring game. I'll think how to fix it.

For the record, what you're downloading is a zipped executable, and you can scan its contents before you unzip it. And FWIW, I've downloaded the program and it works great (aside from the tourney issue above). Bottom line - I can confirm there is no hidden malicious software in this download.

i have two questions

1) what program did you use to modify the cards,esp the colours

2)i cant use your cards on ibolides trial version,do they just work once you registered there??


what would be the easiest way to change the blue cards in your version to a yellow background

I used MSPaint and The GIMP to make everything. I'm not much of a graphic artist, but I know how to cut and paste into a template. I'm really not sure how to change from blue to yellow, maybe someone with more skill could help you with that.

I think I know why you can't use the cards. Right click the image and then select 'save as'. Before you save you have the option to either save the file as a .png or a .bmp; you need to save as .bmp in order for the image to work with Ibolide.

Keep in mind until you register the program you will see watermarks on everything no matter what mod you use.
