more gift certificates. I know that amazon is out, but how about Costco, WalMart, Target, Ikea, other big retailers. Money clips sound good too.

How about lowering the FPP threshold for the Concierge service? There just aren't very many items over $3000 that I want, but there are lots of cool things that are ~$1K. I know that Stars employees have said on here that they can buy you smaller items (like a $1K computer) and refund the difference in FPPs, but their policy is ambiguous about
a) how many FPPs you need to "trigger" the concierge service (eg if i have 62K FPPs and I want to buy a $1K computer, is that enough? or do i have to build up 186k FPPs just so that you can refund my 124k FPPs when I get the computer?); and
b) how small can an item be eligible for the concierge service?

The travel gift certificates are a great idea, and I've used them before, but in practice there are waaaayyyy too many restrictions on how they can be used.

The cotton track jacket, with the white piping, will be up in the store in March. We are changing the procedures in the store, and have to wait until that is complete. We have other items we will be adding.

onecall.com doesn't have computer stuff and many other things

a gift certificate to a place like J&R would be a ton better. amazon was the best because it has everything.

the wal-mart and costco gift-cards, etc too.


completely agree that the travel-cards aren't quite as flexibile as one might like.
I've used them. But would hesitate to do so again because it's just not very convenient.

I've always been shocked Stars doesn't have video game stuff - 360/PS3/Wii consoles and games just seems like a natural. Yeah you'd have to rotate new/old games in and out every couple months but all the electronics comes through Future Shop/Best Buy anyway so how hard could that be?

I'm pretty sure that they don't offer video game stuff because getting a new video game system makes someone less likely to play online poker.
