Re: Deep Stack: 22
I think you have to call here, does he really have 67?
|
Re: Deep Stack: 22
wow, I am baffled by his turn bet. All I can say is, you can't fold...
|
Re: Deep Stack: 22
Does he really overshove a set on this turn?
|
Re: Deep Stack: 22
I fold the flop and use disconnect protect on the turn.
|
Re: Deep Stack: 22
def 67s!
you could call when youre both 100bb`s, but now ur so more often behind than ahead |

Re: Deep Stack: 22
*Grunch*
Just call it and be done with it, you might see 67, but more often you will see a FD (or an Ace ) Holla !! |

Re: Deep Stack: 22
calls and gets all the monies. I think this is a set everytime and hes not putting you on a 2 or 67
|
Re: Deep Stack: 22
I think this is one of the few cases where calling a turn overbet is a good idea.
|
Re: Deep Stack: 22
What is disconnect protect? Confusssed
|
Re: Deep Stack: 22
After making like 3 retarded posts and editing them, I give up. Call.
|
Re: Deep Stack: 22
how bad would a fold on the flop be? cause thats what i would do.

What is disconnect protect? Confusssed [/ QUOTE ] On some sites, if your connection is lost they deem you "all in" and you see the rest of the board without putting in any money as if you were all in, just you keep what money you had in your stack before you were disconnected. UB has this, and you can trigger the disconnection protection whenever you want to if you know the trick to it. The guy above was jokingly saying to use it so he didn't have to choose what to do on a tough decision. |
Re: Deep Stack: 22
flop call sucks

I see, I could tell he was joking about whatever he was saying, just didnt understand it

[/ QUOTE ] I misread, thought that it was the button who called hero`s raise. Anyway, now that the ace has come up, villain has to mayyybe think that hero has AA or other set. I can`t see why he would be betting like this without being able to beat a set, unless he`s an idiot. |
Re: Deep Stack: 22
i hate the flop. fold to his raise. if you're detemined to continue with the hand then push. (but youre not liking it).
pushing is better if hes been real aggro postflop, and raising flops with lots of marginal hands. i really think this is 56 more often than 67. and sets play like this almost never. still looks like a combo draw, maaaybe scared 2 pair on the turn. it doesnt matter though, call this turn everytime. |
Re: Deep Stack: 22
call
|
Re: Deep Stack: 22
you called the flop bet; what other card could you be looking for?
call. |
Re: Deep Stack: 22
fold call is hideous.
fold the turn. |
Re: Deep Stack: 22
many different opinions
please post outcome if you called |
Re: Deep Stack: 22
flop call is brutal, but once we hit the turn you have to call. if he has the nuts he isnt open shoving like this on the turn - no way. And I cant see him ever holding 26.

Re: Deep Stack: 22
I snapcall the turn.
Flop is gross though. |
Re: Deep Stack: 22
12 + 9 + 27 = 48 and it costs you 18 to call. So you are getting about 2.7:1
Lets say you have 8 outs for the winner... you're a 5:1 dog to make your straight.... but given that he shoves the turn like this, if you were using implied odds then you just made your money. Surely then flop call is fine (given Villains play). Clear call for me, what other card did u want? This is so much better than a 2 IMO |
Re: Deep Stack: 22
I snap fold this turn. You are calling to chop a $65 pot for the rest of your stack 150 BBs? No way is this profitable, and he is not bluffing off this much of his stack here. He has 67 90% here, and he does not go this nuts with a 2.
I used to make this call and lost 100% of the time against anybody but a huge donkey. I instafold in these situations anymore, its the most aggravating way to lose a stack, puts me on tilt, and i hate myself afterwards. If you want to make this call, more power to ya. |
Re: Deep Stack: 22
Villian is 28/20/1.5 - now Im not that sure what this means, but doesn't it suggest a TAG ??? Does he really call OOP from the sb with 67?? Does he c-raise this flop? Doesn't two pair or set check raise flop more often that the guy who flopped the nuts on a rainbow?
Im not saying you never see 67, and if you do its just a total cooler, but I think 67 is less likely than two pair or a set. |

Re: Deep Stack: 22
Most TAGs don't bet $235 into a $65 pot if they have the nuts, do they? Does villain have reason to believe you are a donk? Maybe he thought you played the flop like AK or AQ would and expected you to see his overbet as a bluff. Generally speaking, I don't see how villain can put you on a 2 which is really the only card anyone could hold and feel comfortable calling this bet. 6-7 seems really unlikely to me. Again, why would he overbet with the nuts? Definitely call here.

Re: Deep Stack: 22
The more I look at it, the more I think villain wants you to snap call with AA.
I hate it and feel sick about it, but I think we have to fold |
Re: Deep Stack: 22
What a weird hand. I'd be shocked if villain was doing this on the come (although poker shocks me plenty). The only thing that makes sense to me here is that villain holds 67 or villain holds AA and is trapping. If he was prone to superoverbets with draws you'd think you would have noticed it by know, after being at the table for a while.
At first I felt it was an easy call and you'd see sets here often, but the more I think about the less and less confident I get in a call here and lean towards folding. |
