Prop Program

Has anybody done the prop program at ?

I'm told this is not an affiliate program since it is run by UB but is 100% rakeback. UB is a pretty big site though so I was a bit surprised to hear they needed props. Anyways, PM me or reply if you have any experience with the program.

The last I heard it is for 2/4+ non holdem games and 10/20+ holdem.

Its all true. Last time I checked they were only looking for O8 and Stud8 players.

Not spam. Caution. If you read the link, it's confidential and I'd rather not screw it up.

I was told $2/4+ Limit Hold'em, Stud, Omaha 8/b, Stud 8/b, others. Seems to confirm it at the site. I did get an email from somebody saying it was legit so I'm applying and will see what happens. Sorry I don't know more about it yet than what I read on the site so I can't help with all the questions.

So why would you post it in a public forum?

I wondered about it too. After I posted it I wondered if I should have just deleted the thread. FWIW this is not spam. No way someone from UB would have posted that.

ub has been looking for props for a long time, but they are paying referrals, and i am sure the link is commercial.

if it is like most sites, they do not take kindly to someone using their name in a non-official site name.

What makes you so sure?

So, you're saying that UB doesn't know about UBHosts.org? And that's why UBHosts.org is able to use their name on a non-official site?

has been around for years. AFAIK it is run in house.

BTW, is it spam only because they did not link to Poker Scene?

sorry...it does seem like an official ub site.

Mary, now that you've (finally!) been outted, I need to ask you something. Are you going to:
1) Continue posting until you're inevitably banned again, even though you've been banned three times and are obviously not welcome here.
2) Stop posting and create a new account. This has the upside of you being able to keep spouting crap (like the stuff in this thread) on a site where you're not welcome, and forcing everyone to watch for you, thus being deceptive and a pain, all at once. (This one is my pick, knowing you.)
3) Quit posting and never come back, trying to save at least a shred of dignity. (This would completely shock me)
4) Not respond at all to this post, pretending you've never seen it.

Mary has been banned from this forum several times. Cyndee or something was one of the banned aliases. There were a couple of others. Maybe Jek can remember what they are. Each alias I believe was banned for spam.

FWIW this nick has behaved much better then any previous one unless they are PM spamming and nobody has ever complained.

She has been banned under three names. Cyndie was one, the name of her site was another (I'm not going to repeat it here) and I think the third one was Panacea (if I could search the archives for a decent date range, I'd confirm this.) All three names were banned for spamming or self promotion.

She hasn't posted since her last post in this thread, so perhaps she's gone. So, unless you really want the full background on the animosity between us, I'm content to leave it here. Assuming she stays gone.

Re: UB Prop Program

I wasn't going to post again because I had the info I needed already. But I feel obligated to at least say I have no idea who 'Mary' is, am not familiar with the story and have never posted on the rakeback forum on 2+2 before under any name.

The reaction has been pretty entertaining to read (at least from my naive perspective). I was just surprised how emotional people have been. TTFN
