At 50/1nl i seem to be seeing a few players raise or bet in odd amounts with decimals like $5.76 Cbet etc and it's pissing me off. It seems like at firt glance it's a big bet but i have to look again at it for a sec. Are they doing this for that reason or am I just being overly suspicious with these guys. Either way, it pisses me off and i'll just bluff em out if they do that crap. I don't see the point if it's a AHK pot script like on party cuz FT already has bet pot button. Anyone notice this?

I try to end all my raises and bets and such in random 5cent intervals. First, as to your question, FT does not let you bet in increments of pennies, so they have to be betting some mutiple of a nickle. I mostly just do it for fun, and also b/c I believe that I can use/manipulate bet size better sometimes then some people, by either making a bet look smaller or bigger. But mostly I just do it for fun.

Might people not want to bet pot everytime?

There's a script where you set your preferred bet amounts as a % of pot, and end up with unrounded amounts as a result.

you bet 4.5, if i raise to 14.5 it looks small, if i raise to 15.85 it looks big

this is also good to take away a timing tell

if you are betting fast the time it takes to type out 7.65 will keep you from letting your opponent know you are acting too quickly

the timing tell is something i didn't think of. It's still annoying as hell though...all you 1-tablers have fun with it.

I play 6, and I can type in 7.65 on my laptop faster then most people can click pot

I do it all the time, the purpose is to do the exact thing you just said happens.

The other person thinkgs its a bigger bet (and hopefully) subconsciously it will look scarier becasue it looks like more money is there.

Well, there's a very few number of players that get aggravated when faced with weird bet amounts. And maybe they tilt a little bit. lol angle shooting. And this thread sux.
