Which sites count the ante as a participated hand that counts towards the bonuses and rakeback?

If a blind of 10c in holdem is a contibuted hand, but a 20c ante-hand in stud isn't -there's something wrong. Right? E.g Absolute does this: ante-not contributed.

Tell them you're not happy with that, and are taking your bus. somewhere else...

I always thought they all did, which is why stud clears a bonus nice and quick. I don't know why someone would not want to answer this.

I don't know about all sites, but while it is not relevant anymore, party poker would only include the hand if there was a rake taken from the pot, thus if the hand got raised and no rake was taken out, then the hand did not count towards your bonuses. I would think that other sites would be similar.

Are you sure? My friend was clearing bonuses on Microgaming just last week, and every hand was counting. Perhaps it depends on the site? And I know when I played at Absolute it counted, although that was back in November and I know they've did a lot of changes since then.

I've seen threads where people ask for tips on where to find fishy games etc. Some of the answers have been "why would I tell you? so you can come and take my share?...."

Most Microgaming skins have not-contributed, 25c rake taken, but some use the contributed method and antes don't count.

Not the case at Absolute anymore. I'm trying to clear a bonus there at the moment and taking absolutely ages because they don't credit you with playing the hand unless you "see the flop" - i.e. see 4th street onwards.

Got a feeling they use the same system for calculating rakeback too, and don't intend to stick around there too long once the bonus is finally done.

I wrote them a mail about this matter. I suppose they have tens of thousands of players, a couple of hundreds of them stud players. It would most probably profit Absolute more than a single player to revoke the unfair ante-rule (and to keep the existing tens of thousands players: go back to the old dealt-system).

Bringing up this thread again. PT and me checked out how many hands on Absolute in order to get 10 dollars bonus...
