\"Pump and Dump\" Apology Thread

I thought I would start this thread to make it convenient for those who need to beg forgiveness for ever doubting me.

I assume it's about a company stock he recommended. Given his history of nailing 16 yo runaways and being pictured pushing young women up against a wall in the Bellagio, he should probably make that clearer.

Re: \"Pump and Dump\" Apology Thread

I think he's talking about This Breaking News for IMMR , a stock he disclosed owning 30,000 shares of In this Thread.

IMMR jumped $2.30, from $7.23 to $9.53 in after hours trading today when this news came out.

From the chart, it looks like it was selling for $6.80 on 12-21-06 when David posted his disclosure. Those who jumped on his bandwagon 2 months ago are sitting pretty this evening.

DID YOU KNOW THE JUDGE IN THE IMMR CASE?

You can't be that good.

Basically, you collect royalties, play poker and nail various women.

Even with this settlement (which has a minimal effect upon the earnings), IMMR still has to produce something which will create more earnings. That is the problem with this stock, it may hit it big, on the other hand, the technology it produces may never be marketable. You know it is speculation that may pay off. I will take a look at it when the market opens in five minutes.

David,

Good catch, did not doubt you but unfortunately my $$ was tied to investments where penalties to move it would erode any gains. We are only doomed to failure if we don't learn from our mistakes. I think I'm going to start moving a chunk of $$ to a money market and call it the "DS 2+2 Fund"

Thanks. If I had had three times as much faith in you, I'd be even in the market for the week.

Maybe not a bad idea David. Why settle on being a multimillionaire when you can get yourself into the really Big Game.

OP,
Do you continue to hold the shares?
Was this news the upside you saw in the stock?

Odds are Mat found the stock, not you.

If you found it, it was based on inside info.

Why should people beg forgiveness for doubting you? It certainly did you no harm. Quite the contrary: isn't it great when they doubt your value-bets?

Hey, you are discounting the dildonics 'kicker' here.

Are you selling dildonics "short"?

Re: \"Pump and Dump\" Apology Thread

Oi be Tourney blagger of 9 months, and I's apologise for "Pump or Dump", see I start Sklanksy System but ppl tell me unkool, unKOOOL!

So then I not Push All In, every pair of 6's and 7's thru to T's, but I build up Pot. Good players fold, and then FIsh and Maniacs all see flop, which is always scary, but coz pot is big, someone catch it and someone bluff and bust out...

I not play Fixed Limit Poker, cos then I must read the board cards and try figure out ppl's holdings, I need play more psychological and raise big pre-flop, and pray to "Jesus"!

Of course sometimes, even the Fish fold, and my Pump-ing means I win more pots! If I limp, I would have to be patient and have a hand, and then bet proper sizes to charge the fish... all bit complicated...

Simpler just to raise big, and Push In, if they call me on flop. Sometime it wurks, ovter timz I bust out, at least I not been made fun of for limping or had ppl come at me raising behind!

Re: \"Pump and Dump\" Apology Thread

I had bought. I figured Sklansky said so why not. But then I read up on them. The skimmed their patents (and the weird diagrams of aliens) and also gaming websites describing the technologies. The more I read, the less I understood whether others would choose to work around their patents. And I sure don't understand the lawsuits, and I sure didn't know what the price was assuming. Definitely I didn't think it was a pump-and-dump, I just didn't understand the company well enough.

So I sold. I figured that with my speculative money I'd stick to a stock I understood better, SLP, which I bought just below 4.

Curse my luck.
