Golden Palace Poker new site for US?
 

Anyone get an email confirming this response? I was told by host John that I should get this email any moment and all action points and money can be switched over to new site?

Can someone confirm this?

I played at Golden Palace up until Monday when I withdrew the last of my moneys. I have not heard of them switching to any site that would be available to US players. Perhaps there was a miscommunication between you and host John about your residence in the US? Anyway, I would love for it to be true so I could make use of all these stinking Action Points.
Oh yeah and although I said I withdrew the last of my money on Monday, I am still waiting on 3 checks I requested prior to that one. The first one I requested was around January 25. Have you received any paper checks from them?

i'm waiting on my paper check on from 1/31 withdrawl.

Also there was no miscomminication between the host and I. It was very clear, because I was talking about my action points as well. 1.4 mil of them.

Nothing yetas far as the email goes, I will keep everyone posted here though. I'll try and get the website from the hosts again as I was told over the phone, but I can't remember. DAMNNIT!

I didn't hear about the new site until today either. The new site is on DGN, so the traffic is almost non-existent. Not that I'm complaining --any additional traffic is good as I've got a bonus at FCP I'd like to clear sometime.

As far as checks, I requested one in late Jan as well. According to support, they got a new check processor last week (former one pulled out) and they're working through the backlog now. Time will tell....

I got something, I don't recall anything being necessary to transfer. I did download and verify my account worked. Presuambly the points will transfer automatically.

Seems like so far no one has gotten the email that they said they were sending tonight (atleast thats what I was told by there host John), I will check my email once more before going to bed, otherwise I will check with them tomorrow.

Just looking for a confirmation Email with instructions.

i didnt even know golden had a poker room. is this the same site that has the casino also??

i ask because i still have money in that casino from way back and would gladly transfer it over to a poke site.

My understanding always was that casino money and poker room money wasn't interchangeable.
I got this email today and was shocked because there had been no talk at all nor would the hosts confirm/deny anything was happening prior to today.
I still think GPP handled it poorly overall- although am sure they were handcuffed a bit.
I made one final withdrawal Monday and may have left some small amount on had I known about this move.
Then again I am still waiting on a check from early Feb and have a buddy in New York who is still waiting on his from when they shut off the 11 states or whatever in late January.
So we'll see what happens. I'll download century now having confirmed it via this thread.
Sad to leave that old network- even though the support was lacking at times.
Maybe somehow I can get something out of the action points.

Unless grouchie got a different e-mail than I did, I don't think that's his password. The e-mail I received was exactly the same, but the incriminating line simply read, "Your password is the same as before." No colon, no password listed.
