When you purchase a WWWcard, you are charged a one-time fee of US$ 2.75 / €2.30 Euro / £1.55 Pounds Sterling, according to the currency you loaded onto your WWWcard. The purchase fee and the load amount are charged to your Visa card.
In the future you may be liable for an additional surcharge when you use your WWWcard to make purchases on the websites belonging to specific merchant categories:

Gaming sites - 3% of the transaction amount
Adult sites - 4% of the transaction amount

No surcharges will be applied to purchases on other categories.

During the introductory period, the above surcharges will not be applied to your WWWcard.

What do they consider to be the introductory period?

The $2.75 fee I can put up with... barely... but the 3% gaming fee is just too much.[list]

Barely put up with 2.75 one time fee?
Give me a break.

Yes 3% may be a bit steep but dont be exspecting anything for free.
Someone will step in sooner or later with a good system for withdrawing and depositing but only because it will make them money. That will cost you in fees directly or indirectly.
Just a fact of life

Re: WWWCARD

Can anyone confirm any rooms accepting this? I know there's only $220 limit, but these are disposable virtual prepaid visas. That means you can use them once, or until depleted, and buy another ($2.75 fee applies each time).

I assume one could deposit the whole $220 immediately without incurring a 3% surcharge, because of the "introductory period". It even says no surcharges are applied during then; don't know why they'd mention that if you couldn't make your first purchase without it.

Essentially that means $2.75 per $220, which is a hell of a lot better than $5 per $100 on ePassPorte. If anyones worried that they can't get a full bonus with $220, I'm sure most sites will be willing to let you do multiple deposits to get the max bonus. PS says they will.

And if it doesn't work, well... your only out the $2.75 as the rest of the $220 should be refunded to your real card. I'll try to do this and get back on it soon, cause PS said they weren't sure if it'd work through their visa option.

Can anyone comment on their last successful use @ PS? Seems like it worked for some, and not for others. Maybe some policy recently changed.

I bought one about 10 days ago and have been completly UNABLE to use to load at FTP. I've tried 15 times or so at varying times of the day.

I can tell you that the charge has not cleared my credit card account though, its still listed as pending as of today. That might be part of the problem. I'll update once the "pending" charge goes away.

No, sorry, only PokerRoom. Does anyone know if it is possible to load Click2Pay with the WWWCard?

Re: WWWCARD

I used it on FTP yesterday. My first attempt was declined and I got a call from my bank 2 minutes later about possible fraud on the credit card I used. I told them it was me and tried again and it worked. I waited about 20 minutes before trying it on FTP and it worked flawlessly. I was also able to buy the wwwcard for $250. I guess they raised the max.

Re: WWWCARD

wwwcard worked at PS as of yesterday. I got 3 deposits totaling $600 and got the full bonus after emailing support. The last deposit took twice as the first attempt was declined. I waited about an hour or so to deposit after signing up for one, but they say 10 min.

Max deposit is now $250, and they are still in the "introductory period". I assume that means at some point, most likely when it gets more popular, they'll charge the 3% gambling fee (yuck). Use it while you can ($2.75 each time).

Essentially anything over 3 deposits (max $750, fee $8.25) go with moneygram or whatever else thats available. You can only get 3 of these a day anyway.
