Final Rules

[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Single Elimination Tournament, random seeding.

[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 300BB Freezeout, with no escalating blinds.

[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Matches will be one game until the quarter finals.

[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Matches will be best of 3, starting at the quarter finals.

[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] If both players agree to pause the match, just make sure there are no disagreements.

[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] If players decide to pause the match for an extended period of time, take note of chip counts, and end the tournament. Stars does not like us leaving the tables open when not in use.

[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Before your match starts, please post the time and site so we can railbird and berate you.

[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Missing deadlines will be penalized by forfeit from the tournament, by the offending party. If there is a dispute as to who the offending party is, I will attempt to resolve the issue as fairly as possible. I will have the final word, in these matters.

The tables will be labeled "Special Heads Up Matches" on the Stars Tourney->Private tab.

Deadlines
Two weeks per round, until quarterfinals.
From the quarterfinals onward, rounds will be three weeks.

Round 3 Start date: 2/27/07

Round 2 End Date: 3/13/07


All participants are expected to keep room in their PM box, and to check this thread regularly.

KowCiller, would like to do it Friday during the day or possibly in the very early evening or late at night. I'm leaving for Germany on March 6th and have some busy spots before that. Let me know what is good for you.

Damn....I can't believe I lost to a West Ham fan :-( Still, gg.

I missed the deck pretty bad but played [censored]. Especially my best starting hand of KK, when the board was 4 to a straight (x89TJ) and 4 suited on the river and you pushed. Oh, and I hit a JJ2 board with 22 and got no action. Anyway, good luck in the next round.

Just a note I thought I was being tricky by not buying in for the full amount right away and it almost cost me the tournament instead of finishing him off with the first big hand potato turn his last 150 into about 1300. I couldnt put the nail in his coffin untill I luckboxed. hmmmm
