How much money did that missed kick before halftime mean to you?

I am guessing a lot of people bet the score/no score in the final two minutes, plus all the Super Bowl party SQUARE boards, plus the first half point spread, there was a lot of money won and lost.

Post here if that kick helped, or screwed you bigtime. Let's hear those stories.

The kick screwed me big time, because I missed the O/U by 2 points. Nice play calling at the end of the game on 4th down too.

The missed kick/no kick made me hit the final score SB Party Square for $1000 Lost $50 on Bears with money line though..

That fourth quarter was a real sweat for me and the under 47 points... Dungy keeping Vinatieri off the field after the two minute warning helped me win my office pool and $150.

Over 12K .. i used about 14 sportsbooks last year- football only.. My favorite was VIP.. The withdrawl of neteller will seriously make it tougher next year.. Deposit, usually win, w/d,, get a call from rep offering deposit bonus ( a few times I would call after a few weeks and request) and start process over I would hit the 4x or 5x roll over in 1/2 days action ( yes I have a problem)... My all time favorite was some Casino offer from VIP.. they had a bonus up to 500 in casino chips if you wagered so much on NFL for a weekend 7k in NFL bets netted me $550 in free chips, however, I had to wager some insane ampunt with these casino chips before I could withdrrawl or transfer to sports book.. So I started some serious blackjack sessions with this free 500.. This 500 went to 2000 to 300 to 1500 to 300 to finally 2400 when I finally hit the roll over.. If I ever got to 300 I would put it all one one blackjack hand ( hoping I would lose and end the misery).. I won this 300 do or die bet 4 times... It must have taken 60 hours of BJ play to meet the roll over req ( usually $5 or $10 hands) .....They have a similar promo for the superbowl. I ll get about 300 in chips with some insane roll over req... We will see where it takes me...

Cost my one friend 1900 on his Super Bowl Squares...

...but put 4k in my other friends pocket on his Squares...

...and I can say the miss left the final at the 9 and 7 which I hit for 10k on my squares....

...so Im pretty happy about it

My old man was going to win a $1000 square had AV made that kick.

The guy came over, counted out the money and held it out before the kick.

my large bet was a parlay colts-7 with the over 48.5 - even though it was only halftime I *&%$& knew that kick was going to cost me $550 - the funny thing is he did the same thing to me in the reg. season in the game against N.E - he's missed like three all year or something like that and 2 of those 3 cost me a combined $1200 -

I had the 6/4 square in the grid, so I was cheering big time for that missed Figgy. Didn't think Vinateri would miss, but YAY!! The score after the 1st quarter was also the 6/4 score, so I took both quarters.

jedi, bet you weren't too happy about 6/4 numbers when you drew them!

I had the score in the last 2 minutes prop at -200, but also had the game under which, if the game played out the same way with the Colts leading by 5 at HT instead of 2, would have pushed my under 49 bet and lost my under 48.5 -105 bet. I never got around to betting the Bears for the first half (got +7.5 -110 for the game and the best 1h line I could find was only +4 +100.)

The bigger issue was that someone who owes me money had 9/4 in a block pool and would have been able to repay a decent chunk of the debt had that field goal been good. Instead, some prick who none of us can stand hit for a second time on 6/4.

No, but I did have a few other good numbers IIRC, so it all worked out. That missed PAT early on really helped out

I missed out on $200 on my square. Nice play calling at the end of the half. Oh well, not as bad of some of the other posts.
