approval from neteller

This is the e-mail that was sent to me today.......

Hello (1BDWOLF),

Thank you for your email. At this point, the only way to get funds out of your NETeller account would be to do a peer to peer transfer to a certified NETeller member or to transfer your funds to a non-gaming merchant.

wow...do they just want you to get your account frozen so they do not have to pay? I wonder if they get a commission for every frozen account.

Re: approval from neteller

The way to do it is someone outside the US takes the money and does a Bankwire.....to your bank account

I am from Canada and have friends who play. I would not impose on them for a few bucks. Mind you, I have nothing on neteller right now.

You do realize P2P transfers have been disabled and there are no non-gaming merchants? Or perhaps that was the point of the post...

Neteller Rep 1: Man, we are all getting laid off!
Neteller Rep 2: I know, we are all out of a job soon.
Neteller Rep 1: Look at this, another one of those "How do I get my money" emails.
Neteller Rep 2: Hey, tell him to do a peer-to-peer transfer!
Neteller Rep 1: Good one! hahahahahahaha

Get it done, then report back. One random support idiot doesn't mean you can. He was probably high when the memo came through on P2P.

"Why isn’t my account certified anymore?

US member accounts have been temporarily de-certified to revoke Peer-to-Peer capabilities. These accounts should be automatically re-certified in the next 10 business days, but Peer-to-Peer transfers will no longer be available to US members."

Is there any time frame to let us know how to get our money back?

Per VIP phone support disallowing p2p was a "business decision." I was curious why inside the US p2p's were prohibited. "Business decision" was the answer I got.

Re: approval from neteller

This is the response I got:

"As of 4:00 PM MST today all US accounts have been temporarily un-certified to remove the option of peer to peer transactions as to prevent US clients from using Neteller to gamble online. This was a very large issue that needed to be dealt with as there were many clients being frauded of their funds. In these circumstances if a client processes a Peer to Peer transaction and the recipeint does not provide the funds to a client Neteller holds zero liability once the funds are transferred by Peer to Peer. The option we have chosen is not to prevent clients from receiving their funds but to prevent any such fraudulent activity from occuring. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

Ha! Ha! I think I would rather have taken my chances with one of the non-USA folks who were trying to help us.

If your money isn't "Pending", do they allow you to move it to your NT ATM card?

No, they stopped allowing withdrawals to the ATM card.

They gave no explanation.

lol.

Yes, something is seriously wrong with their site.

You can't make a cashout. They have no offered no explanation, and they have offered no timetable for when you will be able to.

My opinion is that the money is gone.
