MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/payMyWebATM.php
Just saw this for the first time so Idk if it's old news or not. Is this a reliable AND convenient optin for depositing AND WITHDRAWING? |
Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
Anyone?
|
Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
Definitely new, I was hoping to see some info here on it.
|
Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
It does not look like you can withdraw straight to a bank account with it.
|
Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
I read the overview on the account setup process, and it is definitely very detailed. Apparently includes Mother's Maiden Name, prior recent addresses, Social Security Number, and more!!! All for a brand-new company in Panama!
Now that funding poker is "going underground," we get to deal with small companies with no established reputation. This outfit may be legit, maybe ePassporte is legit too. But some decent people who just want to lay $10 on some football game are gonna get taken by one of these type of places. Yuck. Still weighing what to do. A man, a plan, a canal, Panama! |
Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
I just spoke on the phone with a Full Tilt deposit associate. He said that requesting a check at this point will take between 25-35 business days. He also said that Click2Pay and Epassporte are unreliable at this point.
He told me that the best option at this point is MyWebATM, which was introduced "literally within the past hour." Basically, with MyWebATM, you have to create an account with them then and make a deposit of at least $50. You will receive an ATM card in the mail within a few days. You then take that ATM card to any ATM that is part of the "CIRRUS" (unsure on the spelling or name exactly) network, and you can withdrawal the money from the ATM. He said if you use this method, you should be able to get your money by sometime next week. |
Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?

Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
They want your SSN, DOB, Drivers License #. You have to be crazy to sign up with these guys. I think the psychology has changed and now there is little to no trust in these ewallet sites.
Those idiots in Congress have no clue what they have done. Instead of having reliable ewallet sites process the $$$, now people have to give their critical information to a bunch of thugs in Panama. |

Whatever network ATM Mastercards are a part of...

Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
I just registered directly at mywebatm for a card. After registering, I was able to see their fee schedule which also shows their daily and monthly limits.
I don't know for sure, but I think card-ACH means taking funds FROM your card TO your bank. So, if you want to get $$ from FTP to your bank, I think you can go FTP-Card-bank. Since the fees are flat rate rather than %, they hurt small timers. On the flip side, there are relatively low maximums (compared to Neteller). This is better than nothing though... Here you go: Schedule of fees Monthly service fee: $3.95 ATM transaction, domestic: $2.50 Declined ATM transaction, domestic: $2.50 ATM transaction, international: $3.95 Declined ATM transaction, international: $3.95 POS transaction, domestic: $1.75 Declined POS transaction, domestic: $0.00 POS transaction, international: $1.75 Declined POS transaction, international: $0.00 Card-to-card transfer: $5.00 Card-to-ACH transfer: $4.00 PIN change: $0.00 Account inquiry: $1.00 Replacement card: $9.95 Currency conversion: 2% Funding from credit card: $0.32 + 3.70% Funding from bank account: $2.82 Card Activity Limitations Daily Monthly ATM withdrawal (up to 5 transactions / day): $500 $9700 ATM deposit (up to 10 transactions / day): $2700 $9700 POS debit (up to 25 transactions / day): $1500 $9700 POS refund (up to 10 transactions / day): $2700 $9700 Card-to-card transfer, debit: $2700 Card-to-card transfer, credit: $2700 Funding, per account: $300 $1000 Funding, per card: $300 $1000 |

Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
I believe the withdrawal limits are decided by the individual ATM's, which are usually around $600... Could be wrong about this...

|
Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
I notice there is no little picture of the lock at the top when signing up that usually indicates security. Feels very weird to write down that personal info when that stupid little thing isn't even there. Does this site handle withdrawls from FT?

Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?

Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
Where is the security lock symbol when entering your SS and other info? Why isn't up there when it is there for every reputable bank site I have ever seen.

[/ QUOTE ] Because this doesn't have a lot in common with the reputable bank sites you've seen? Neteller (pre-massacre) - regulated in UK, publicly traded, reliable and data-secure. Strict regulation of how they back their customer's deposits, etc. Any US Bank - insured by FDIC, insanely regulated by our favorite gang of 535. A new outfit in Panama heartily endorsed by FullTilt? Not so much. |
Re: MyWebATM on Full Tilt?
Anyone that gives these guys your SSN is asking for trouble. Do yourself a favor, wait and see how this pans out.
