Thank You

In light of Neteller freezing Assets I wanted to give 1 final public THANK YOU to all the people that helped Americans transfer money from neteller. It is no small favor, you people have saved litaraly tens of thousands of dollards for some people, and in a world where most would find a wallet on the street and not bother to send it back, your actions have been absolutly wonderfull. I absolutely and sincerely wanna thank you all for your efforts.

On a personal note I wanna thank Green Devil for his assistance to me.

I agree 100%.

Just want to again publicly thank Van Strummer and Directrix for helping me get all my money out.

I'm now glad that I panicked a little rather than wait a week.

Re: Thank You

Indeed, thank you.
Specific thanks to Black Winter Day.

I've enjoyed telling my non-poker friends how trust strange and wonderful it's been that a website has built up a community to the point where total strangers tust each other with thousands of dollars.

I'm lucky enough to have friends and family that don't view poker as a pusuit fit only for degenrates, none the less, I've heard the "how can you trust the online sites with your money?" question before. Well, through nothing more than a common bond of playing poker and this website, I was able to trust a total stranger with my money.

What's the strange warm fuzzy feeling I'm expierencing? Hopefully, whiskey will kill it, it doesn't feel natural.

Without this message board, I would have a large sum of money in limbo.

I do know someone overseas, and about a week ago I asked him to sign up for Neteller and get certified. Then I checked this board, decided that time was of the essence, and made the decision to trust a relative stranger. I'm very happy with that decision.

Special thanks to Tuco for being the guy who helped me out.

Glad I was able to help (and make little cash at the same time). Too bad our scheme crashed and burned so quickly, I feel sorry or all the people who desperately need their money and have no way of getting it anytime soon.

Re: Thank You

while it's great that some people were able to get money out of neteller by paying someone to help them, let's face it. they profitted. it's not like they did it 100% out of kindness.

There always has to be 1 ahole to say something negatve. Well I hope u were 1 of the people who decided to be smart and save the 50 bucks and kept your money on neteller.

Re: Thank You

Yeah, wow, it was so ---uh, noble --- of you all to do these transfers. I mean, it's not even like there was any profit made.

I would also like to thank:

My grocer.
My butcher.
My banker.
My stock broker.
The guy who mows my lawn.
Paper boy.

Thanks, everyone. You're really an inspiration!

Maybe anyone who delivers goods or services to other beings in exchange for monetary compensation can get a special 2+2 undertitle? Something along the lines of "Hero of Capitalism"?

She is that person. I had a chance to transfer money for her twice, but she declined both times to save some money.. and I was offering a very reasonable standard rate. I totally respect her decision, but I feel sorry for her because she had a plenty of chance..

oh, and myrtha, your first offer was very reasonable, yes. and you emailed and said we would get it done that night. you never emailed me back. i wrote you back the next day. your offer went from 30 dollars to about 500 dollars not including neteller fee. not saying i blame you, but that's how it went.

That is false..
I clearly remember offering you a lower-than-a-standard rate. It was something like $180 for your 4 digit bankroll, I think it was something like 7% when people were doing it for 10%.
No one was going to do it for you for $30-$50.

Yes, because I still had some pending EFT's and I use neteller for playing on Party.

Look, I truly wish you get your money back, but you are clearly bitter.. so let's not bring that into this thread where people are thanking others.

Thanks for all the help espeically
ursine cotcher 11,500
van strumer 8,000 (my friend also did 8)
green devil 5,000
derilix- more than all of them combined

I just wish I wasnt a retard and had done FT and UB transfers also.I just figured I would be able to get the rest of my money into stars in the next few days.

Re: Thank You

not that it matters, but i know FOR SURE, i just looked at the pm, that your initial offer was 30 dollars. i was shocked it was so low. then, the next day, it was the standard rate at the time, 7%, plus transfer fees, which for 8500 is about 550 plus fees.
it really doesnt matter. just wish we would have done it before you upped the price dramatically. hell, i wish i would have done it at 7%.
my initial post was just stating that yes, people were helped and that's great, but people act like it was all out of the kindness of their hearts and profitting didnt matter.
i have no hard feelings toward anyone.

I'm pretty sure you wanted to transfer something like $2000ish first, and I was doing transfers for $30-$50 on the first day. Couple days later, people are charging 10%+ because neteller started shutting people down. Do you really expect someone to keep their rate at $30-$50 when the market price is way more? Econ 101 here.. I still charged you lower than the standard rate , and you send me a pm saying, "no thank you".

We could've scammed everyone and steal a huge figure if we were after the money. Most of us provided excellent support thru AIM, sometimes waited 3-4 hours for a transfer to go through fighting sleep. Happy customers (?) paid what they were willing to pay and they are thankful.. that's all there is to it.
