FTP cashout by check?
 

(sorry did a search and didn't find anything really on this)

Have people done FTP cashouts by check? Seems like ePassporte is a mess so this would be preferable.

Just seems to be taking like a week to even get an account verified.

Can you track how many business days it's taking to get the checking account verified? I just began this process last night. The visa verify however, was instant. Did you order the epass visa as well?

10 days to get your micro-deposits
10 more days to deposit (if they require manual verification of your credit card/debit card, which they did for me)
2-3 more days for money from poker site to show up
10 more days for money to get to your bank account (may be able to make this less by getting their ATM card for $35)

Apparently their check processing company cut them off and they have yet to make other arrangements.

untrue as far as i know. you can request checks up to 10k via regular mail but ftp cannot or will not send them courier and will not explain why as far as i can tell. regular mail only and they say 25-35 business days.

No - this is not what happened. I was assured of this by FTP. It just takes forever - and is likely a liquidity issue.

Honestly, what the [censored] does this have to do with anything? It's not like, "Oh, dear. Chexx, Inc. is gone. They were the only ones who knew how to write checks for us."

Chexx, Inc. was just a company that wrote checks on everyone's behalf. Just because they decided not to do business with gambling sites any longer DOES NOT mean the checks they've already written are a) worthless or b) that the site cant write their OWN checks. This is clearly a liquidity issue.

The wait sucks cbloom, but I just put in a cashout by check request 1 week ago. I'm expecting it by the end of February (hopefully!). Epassporte sucks b/c, from what I understand, you can't cashout more than $600 at a time...not acceptable while I'm waiting for my check of $4k. Also I have Bank of America which I think denied my Epassporte deposit as it hasn't appeared in my bank account in 1 1/2 weeks.

The drawbacks are the time and the $10K maximum (I believe Stars writes checks that are much larger). Hopefully, they will fix this in the future.

Has anyone used the second day air option?

It is pretty crappy that they are charging $33.50 for that option IMO, but I will probably go that route if I can have my money in 2 weeks. If I have to go that route I will think long about just cashing everything out.

Why is MoneyGram not a Withdrawal option? It seems like if FTP can accept deposits via Moneygram they could send out as well ?????

FYI this is the FTP response:

Checks may be requested for amounts $300 or greater up to a maximum of
$10,000, and can be requested only once every 7 days.

If you would like Full Tilt Poker to send you a check, we must first
verify your account information. Please email or fax us a clear and
legible copy of your photo ID along with proof of address. The name and
mailing address on your ID must match your Full Tilt Poker account
information. We accept the following forms of ID:

Photo ID: Driver's License, Passport, Government-issued ID, or Student
ID

Address Verification: Bank or Credit Card statement, Utility Bill, Cell
Phone Bill, Home or Auto Insurance papers

You can email these documents to us at [email protected] or fax
to 1-877-TILT-FAX. Please use a resolution of 400 dpi or higher when
sending your documents and make sure faxes are clear and legible or they
will be asked to be re-sent. If you are using fax, make sure to include

this all started about Jan. 15th. It takes 25-35 business days. asking for an update on anyone receiving a check before the end of february is a waste of time.
