busto/new job/drug test
 

so i went bust two months ago and since then i've been working the night shift doing data entry for $10.50/hr. *sigh* luckily, though, an old boss of mine called and offered me a job paying nearly double that in the accounting department. i interviewed and got the position, but i have to take a drug test tomorrow. i only occasionally smoke weed but i'm still worried about it. i last smoked weed nearly three weeks ago and i cant remember when the time before that was. will i pass the test? any help would be appreciated. thanks!

i agree. my friend who hadnt smoked in a few months smoked with my roommate when we were drunk 3.5 weeks ago. last friday he had a drug test and passed.

Drink some cranberry juice if you're that worried. I have no idea if it actually works, but that's what all of my pothead buddies did when they had piss tests.

After 3 weeks you're probably fine though.

It also depends on a few other things. But if you don't remember the last time that you smoked previously, than you should be okay. Unless you're really fat and had smoked chronic eveyday for several years in a row, then you might still have some traces of THC in your system.

Also, don't drink cranberry juice, it's a dead giveaway. Just drink water.

yeah, i'm really thin. 5'9" 125 lbs. before three weeks ago, i probably last smoked like...six months ago. i hardly ever do it. thanks for the feedback guys!

Nowags00 is right. Cranberry juice it up. ALSO... drink lots of water too. I mean... you'll probably pass it, but just in case, that's what I would do. Cranberry juice is a good way to clean your system. Trust me...

you should be fine. that stuff stays in fat deposits. the thinner you are the better.

THC acctually takes longer to leave the body than most other drugs. Cocaine is out of your system is less than 48 hours. Despite that, you'll still be fine with a 3 week lead. But I've had buddies fail after two weeks.

these are some of the worst ideas ive ever heard. just drink this within 90mins of the test and you'll be fine, 100%.

ive had several friends try it now as well as myself. worked perfectly. and that was with smoking heavily within 3 days of the test.

Get a very then funnel, and right before u go in to take the piss push the small end gently as deep as you can get it then add water.

Hold it go in and piss gg.

THC metabolites can remain in the body at detectable levels up to 6 weeks or more for heavy smokers. It is fat soluble and is stored in fat tissues, even if you are thin.


Now, OP claims to have not smoked for 3 weeks, and an unknown period before that. Most likely he'll pass.

To help ensure passing:

Start drinking alot of fluids. Gatoraide is better than just water, as if you drink too much water, you can die. Gatoraide has sodium to prevent this.

Eat vitamin B complex. This is to color your urine so that it does not look too "clear".

Alienboy has it. So to summarize and add one thing of my own:
Drink lots of water/gatorade
take vitamin B
Eat lots of steak - or at least have a big steak diner
piss mid-stream

You should be good.

3 weeks is on the cusp but you're only an occasional smoker - shouldn't be a problem.

OP: Don't get drunk the night before. The alcohol will dehydrate you, and if you have any small amount of THC in your body it will show up in the piss test, because of the decreased water content of your urine. You want your piss to look like Evian, not lemonade.

Wrong that it leaves the body quickly, but OP will be fine for a piss test without any additional help. 3 weeks is enough time for someone that very rarely smokes to be clean enough for any drug test.

I think alot of the time with these drug tests still notice the thc but employers simply don't care about the weed. I know of some places that do hair tests that go back like 5 years, and people don't get fire because they have smoked weed in the past 5 years.

A lady died drinking about this much a couple weeks ago. Did it in a radio contest trying to win an xbox or something. she drank just under 2 gal. It happens quite a bit, with college pranks, bar bets, etc. Just hit the news cuz a radio station was running the contest.

Don't know why they do to be honest. I am guessing it's because they figure a pothead doesn't do their job as good as someone who doesn't smoke. Stereotypically they will show up for work late, not work when they are there because they're blazed, etc.

But it's not some unknown thing nowadays. 4 out of the last 5 jobs I've worked drug tested me before my start date. Especially retail stores, they're notorious for it but supposedly they are "random" for new employees.
