I cashed out via check on Tuesday, 1/22. I received an instant confirmation e-mail that I had done so telling me that I should receive the check via courier within 15 business days.

2 days later I received an e-mail with a FedEx traking number for the envelope. Checked out the tracking and it was on the truck for delivery. Waiting at my door at 6pm that day even though signature was required.

Total time: 2 days.

I requested a check by courier last Monday and just received the tracking email 10 minutes ago. Should be here tomorrow. Their processing time seems pretty random.

I requested a check last Tuesday and got it Friday. Deposited with no problem.

Is it standard for PS to email you the fedex tracking #?
I requested a check for more than $1K on Sunday, and I was hoping to get it these couple days. But I didn't get any fedex tracking # email.

I cashed some out back in early january, got the confirmation from stars immediately. However, I never received any notification from FedEx as to the tracking of my package. It took I think 11 days, there was a note that the check was delivered (I wasn't there to sign for it, yay 9-5 jobs). Went to the FedEx office that night to pick it up, got it no problems.

Now, I deposited the check to my bank via ATM that night, and the check just cleared today, which is exactly 10 days. So count on this as well.

So, in summary, exactly 21 days turnaround between cashing out and actually having money available to me. its a long time, but it's pretty much the only option right now.

edited to say that these are actual days, not business days. so 3 weeks on the nose total.

Got my check today...>1,000 so regular mail. 13 days to get here, not too bad.

I got my check for $1,100 this morning. I put in the requested on january 24th and today is the 31st.

I just got my check >$1,000 this morning. I requested it Saturday. I tried cashing it and the Wells Fargo manager thought the check looked funny and tried to verify it. She was getting the runaround so I just took my check and left. I will try depositing it later.

i got my check today after requesting it on sunday late night.

This is the second check i've recieved in two weeks. the first one went through without a hitch but i had to wait 2 days for it to clear into my account.

Today... I went to the bank, got it put into my account... The woman called over another (hot) girl and asked what to do with it. The (hot) girl asked me where i got it, I said an internet site (i almost went the "extremely short term investing" route)... She asked if it was for poker and I said yes...

She then explained that it's illegal for banks to issue checks for poker companies and this is their work-around. She said someone else came in with a similar check earlier today from poker. basically she said that the check just LOOKS fake and I should not spend the money for a week, just in case (obv this isn't an issue i'm concerned about)... But anyway.. the girl over rode the system and put my check through immediatly (balla) after I told her i had another one go through fine.

They were fairly hesitant to process it though.

(She gave me googly eyes after seeing so many digits. And I left <font color="white"> after SIHP, of course </font> )

I requested my check for a K's last Friday, received it today (five days).

I went to my bank to cash. Teller asked me to hold on while she got someone to initial it. Teller comes back with someone else. That person asks if its a loan check. I pretend i didn't hear her, hoping she is just thinking out load. She asks again, i say "yes." She mutters something about never seeing a check like this before. I say "its from Canada." She says "oh, okay" and types things into the computer. She leaves and original teller hands me my deposit receipt and asks if there is anything else she can do. I say "no" and ride off into the sunset.

I still have to wait for it to clear, but they didn't say anything about putting it on hold.

Does Stars require a copy of your ID and or utility bill before making your first cashout via check (also my first cashout of any kind)?

This was very similar to what happened to me today. They ended up cashing the check for me but said they would have to hold the check against the funds in my acct until the check cleared.

yes, my less/more sign was wrong , I deposited less than 1,000 but my sign&gt; was wrong. I don't need the money til the 25 for a bill so it's all good if they hold it for a week or so. I am going to play the sunday millions this week, that will be a whole different story if I go deep.

i just got my fedex tracking number this morning. apparently he came while i was out and tried to deliver it. is he just going to come back tomorrow? sorry for the dumb question but i'm ignorant when it comes to this kind of stuff.

FWIW I use own a small mail order / internet business.

If Fedex will be back in your immediate area for a delivery or pickup after 10.30AM they will reattempt delivery. You can call their support number 1800-gofedex and leave instructions on redelivery or hold in the FedEx office for evening pickup. They will deliver again tommorow,

Why is everyones bank tellers saying the checks look funny - are they written in crayon and magic marker?

I think I'll take the $5 loss and go directly to US Bank and cash it once it arrives.

i cashed out on sunday, check arrived on wednesday. i just cashed it at WAMU and no problems at all. funds aviable for immediate use.
