epassporte bank withdrawal

I made a withdrawal Jan 17th and it hasn't appeared in my bank account yet. Is this a typical waiting period?

One made on the 16th has cleared (on Thursday). One made on the 17th has not.

how long did you guys have to wait for the two small verifying deposits when you first linked epass to your bank account?

I've been waiting since the 19th for those to hit...

17th here. I haven't tried calling them, yet, and i wonder if that would help...

It's certainly understandable that they hadn't anticipated this sudden rush and that'd it'd be a logistical nightmare. However, there's little excuse for not having some sort of mass e-mail warning to pending accounts to ask for patience and providing an estimated date.

I just got off the phone with their customer support (took me about 30 dials to get through, then on hold for 40 minutes); apparently money will be available on the 8th business day after you requested the cash out.

The customer service person also told me that the "Matched" and "Outstanding" really makes no difference to the speed of the process; your money will still be available in your bank on the 8th business day after you request the cash out.

Hope that helps.

I can verify this 8th business day on an anecdotal scale. I just received my deposit in my bank account today, this being the 8th business day.

I've been waiting for the two deposits to hit my account for 8 days now. I'm confused though because once you start the process don't you only have 7 days to verify and after that you have to start over? That's how I understand it from the website.

Got my micro verifying deposits today after initiating them well over a week ago. So hopefully I will actually have money cashed into my bank act in 2-3 weeks? heh

While it is easy to joke around about the lethargic pace these transactions take, the point of this post is that they do in fact go through. Just requires a little patience.

Re: epassporte bank withdrawal

Okay, so I just called B of A and they confirmed that that I finally have my two deposits. I just requested a deposit into Epassporte. I am unable to find the transaction history page on epassporte (like neteller has) that shows that my withdraw is pending. Can anyone clarity?

Thanks!

I received an e-mail from ePassporte yesterday reminding me that I only have 3 more days to verify my account, yet the small deposit(s) haven't hit yet.

This is at E*Trade... I created an ePassporte account using my E*Trade debit card and called E*Trade immediately and the customer service guy gave me the verification charge immediately, so obviously it was processed immediately.

Then, I created an ePassporte account for my wife using her debit card, although it is on the same E*Trade checking account. This is the one I'm waiting to verify. The funny thing is that neither my charge nor my wife's charge are showing up on my online E*Trade statement, although the customer service guy gave me the amount over the phone almost a week ago.

I guess I'll wait until tomorrow and then call E*Trade again for my wife's charge (if any), although I thought I could just be patient and wait a day or two to view my statement. Oh well.

Charges to a debit card get cleared.....the charge to my debit card appeared right away like usual and then epassporte doesn't keep the $1 or whatever they "charge" you. It's a test to verify, they don't actual charge you.

I have been waiting since the 17th also. I called them and the lady who answered was put off that I was impatient.

What takes 7 business days? I could get a mortgage for a home in that time now.

I am really not going to like epassporte

Re: epassporte bank withdrawal

epassporte is probably better being used with their ATM card as a replacement for using Neteller + Neteller card. Having your money in 'limbo' for long periods awaiting EFTs doesn't strike me as a great way to do things with things changing so quickly.

Re: epassporte bank withdrawal

I posted this in another thread but didnt get an answer. What is the exact status of epassporte? Can it still be used to transfer money back to your bank account? I heard that in a few weeks epassporte won't work anymore. I've searched, but cant find any relevant info.

GDadsForever 01-29-2007 05:31 PM

Re: epassporte bank withdrawal

loxx,

The card took about 12 business days to arrive in the mail.

djj,

You can still use epassporte to make EFT transfers into your bank account, these withdrawals take 8 business days.

All,

Epassporte visa card is a very effective way to withdraw funds from your epassporte account immediately. If you need money right away, I recommend this route rather than waiting the 8 business days.

I have had epassporte for 2 years, and while fees and delays are obviously annoying, this is the price for business ATM. Be patient, this company is doing it's best.

My micro-deposits finally cleared tonight after 8 business days. So now, I have to load money from bank account, which apparently takes how long to process? Then I can deposit on Full Tilt, THEN I can possibly start the withdraw process on Full Tilt.

Need a little clarification here......

I just verified via my debit card and it instantly cleared my account and I verified it that way.

Its asking me to load the account and purchase the $35 Visa card from them

Is this Visa Card the one that acts like the Neteller Debit card or are there two different cards?? Cause i saw something in there about a Virtual Visa Card and something else.

Yes, the $35 Visa card, (annually,) is an actual piece of plastic that is a Visa that is used for swipe transactions, including at atm's.

the other virtual card is not a card at all, but more like an online wallet.

It has different numbers associated with it than the plastic one, and is the ONLY one that can be used online. iirc, it is $5.

I would strongly recommend spending the $35 and getting the plastic. otherwise you are pretty much limited to bank eft's to get your cash from them. and it takes about a week and a half for that to completely process.

at least with the actual card you can get your cash in a timely fashion, and it costs $2 for an atm withdrawal which can be for a max of $620 per day.

Ok, I just made the deposit into FT using this verification method. Once i make a withdrawl from FT to EPassporte, do I "load" the ATM card once it comes in the mail??

So, I can either use the ATM way and/or the EFT way in the future once the Bank Verifies the small deposits (Bank Account verification)?

Re: epassporte bank withdrawal

if it truly is 12 days for the card to arrive, it may be best to just wait instead of doing the 12 day eft. ridiculous

how long does a check straight from poker stars take?

Re: epassporte bank withdrawal

No need to load the card like a neteller debit card.

The money resides simultaeneously on both cards, i.e., it is on epassporte, so you can use the same funds from either the virtual card or the real plastic one.

Yes, if you don't have at least $35 in your account when you apply for the card you'll get an error.

I was very impressed by how long it took to get the card. Ordered it on 1/21 and received it on 1/27.

Yes, that confused me for a while as well since the error message doesn't say anything about having to have $35 in your account. But if you put $35 in your account and request the card again, it will work.
