Reraise the turn (unless you can't in which I really see no other way to play this).

Re: 88 raised then capped

wouldn't let me reraise the turn..

calling the extra 2 bets on the flop was ok?

Getting 6:1 as worst possible odds if they end up capping the flop, I think the flop call is perfect. Villains are on big pairs just about always so you are close to having 10 clean outs.
Worst case scenario you are up against A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and 99 in which case you have 6 outs, but still have odds to see the turn for 4 bets.

You had the odds to call preflop.

I'd reraise the turn, the rest looks good.

SB's all-in is only $.25 more than your raise so it counts as a call, not a 3bet. This is pretty standard and has nothing to do with the software.

Re: 88 raised then capped

Since SB is shortstacked I would raise the flop expecting SB to cap and put max. pressure on BB.

cant play it any different. folding preflop even if BB had folded would be passing up definite EV, with him in u have huge set odds.

Look at it this way, besides the bets u put in postflop the final pot laid u 16:1 on ur initial call of the cap preflop. Theres no way with a PP u have less than 10% equity preflop unless someone else has 88 too AND ur up against an overpair.

Re: 88 raised then capped

I would 3bet the flop. There is still a chance, that you are ahead here, and you really want to get rid of button if he just have overs (AK and stuff like that would actually get a pretty reasonable price to draw if you just call). If you get rid of button and it doesn't get capped, then you will also have the option of taking a free card on the turn.
