PAHUD

How do I get the stats up for each player in a cash game. I've just downloaded the demo pokertracker and the demo PAHUD v1.14 and I can see the average pot stats but not the player stats. I've tried reading the help sections but I haven't found the solution yet. It all looks a bit complicated.

Re: PAHUD

Set the required number of hands for each player. If you don't have enough hands, it won't show anything.

Thanks. I can't see any stats yet but it seems to be slowing my computer up.

Does pokertracker need to be open for PAHUD to work or do I just need PAHUD open?

Re: PAHUD

PT does not need to be open. However make sure you select which database you want to use and poker ace generally needs to be told what folder each site is saved in. This is all within the preference menu.

It doesn't need to be open, however it also won't be updating your opponents stats with hands u've just played with them unless you have pokertracker open and importing hands

Re: PAHUD

So do I have to click on start timer first in PT? I 've clicked on auto import hand histories from Stars.

I can only see vp$, pfr and pot in the bottom right of the stars game at the moment.

Does it work with the marine theme background?

bluffbetter 01-22-2007 04:18 PM

Re: PAHUD

Oh, I've just noticed it's already imported the max 1000 hands for the demo version so that's probably why it won't work. That's not very useful becasue I want to try it with PAHUD.

TheIrishThug 01-22-2007 04:22 PM

Re: PAHUD

PT imports hands every time the timer reaches 0, so if you never start the time it won't do anything. That being said, as this is Stars you will need to be playing hands at the table because Star does not save observed hands.

The background will not change how Poker Ace runs. Have you setup a layout of how you want the stats to appear. Some examples can be found on the poker ace website.

Re: PAHUD

I think I read that the default setting has 4 stats on already I think it's probably like I said above, that it's already imported that many hands from previous games ( with this being the trial version I've got).

Re: PAHUD

You should be using beta version 1.15m. There have been a lot of bug fixes since version 1.14 was released.

its still not working. i dont know how many people are working for you but mine hasnt worked for over a week and i sent a second log file a few days ago and have recieved no feedback or response yet.

i was also forced to pay for a 2nd registration bc i have 3 computers and then the old reg code got shut down too. i know some others that been having problems w/ pahud lately as well- and its not because we dont have the latest beta version of hud

Jsnipes, what site are you having problems with?

Have you upgraded PTrack / PostgreSQL to the 8.1 / 8.2 version?

pokertracker is updated and i have not messed with postgres since i installed it. i dont see why postgres would be an issue, all of my db's are postgres and pahud has been working fine for me on fulltilt and doyles room

Just that I remember reading on the PT forums if you had upgraded to Postgres 8.2 you have to do some registry edits to make PAHUD work again. This may even be the case if you upgrade PTracker only, not sure.

So it currently works on FT / Doyles but not elsewhere (stars?) ?

Or it used to work on FT / Doyles but not any more?

It still works on doyles/ftp but not on stars. i have not updated postgres (so i assume i have 8.0?) and i just download the PT patches whenever I am alerted to do so.

just looked, ya postgres 8.0

Re: PAHUD

If you are still on 8.0 I doubt there will be any issue with the PTracker updates (I am still on pgsql 8.0 databases)

OT: How do you make PT prompt you for updates? I just have a look every month or so lol.

I am still on PAHUD 1.15L - working fine for me on Stars all month (I haven't played anywhere else). It's late night for me now, I'll install the M version of PAHUD tomorrow and see if it breaks.

I'm hoping you'll be back in business soon - I'd not be keen to put in hands if my HUD was broken

I see no mention of problems in the PAHUD forum beta M thread - maybe it's just your setup?

Whatever it is, it will be fixable with information.

Good luck,

dave.

Re: PAHUD

Im having problems with PAHud and stars also. I am recognizing the tables but show same things as OP.

I had to reinstall PAHud and now it does not work. I have all the settings correct, (databases selected, no filters). I have also tried both methods of using HH or not. Its really hard to grind out 6 tabling low stakes with this happening...I just want to autopilot.

bluffbetter 01-23-2007 06:06 AM

Re: PAHUD

Have you tried it with 1 table, just to see if that will work? I know that's not what you want, but at least you could maybe rule out it having problems with 6 tables. Or maybe if you've loaded old hand histories onto it, it's taken up all the space.

Re: PAHUD

Ya it def sucks not having a HUD, but ive just been concentrating my play on FTP since its been broken which has been fine but I would like the option to game select across both sites or play Stars when I want.

I sent another log file, hopefully it will be resolved in a timely manner.

bluffbetter 01-23-2007 03:19 PM

Re: PAHUD

I've got it working now, but in 800 by 600 screen resolution the stats are over the flashing player icons which means the stats flash on and off as well and also I have to click on a very small area of the player icon to get the big list of stats to come up. I'm assuming both of these don't happen with bigger resolutions?

PokerAce 01-23-2007 03:21 PM

Re: PAHUD

I am the only person that works for me. I have received your log and will let you know as soon as I discover what the problem is.
