I have a few bucks in PokerStars. I probably won't be putting anymore in. I had a few bucks in Neteller, it is being withdrawn as we speak.

I really have no incentive to jump through hoops to play you guys online. Grinders aren't fun. You were doing a passable job of killing the golden goose before all this happened. Now the government has caged the goose, and there are very few golden eggs left around.

I will play out my pittance on Stars, mostly tournaments now, and when/if I go busto,.. so long online.

You guys will enjoy trying to tear each other apart. Online poker is going to be real -ev real soon.

I am wondering how many "winning" poker players came online from the B&M world, got picked clean by you multitabling grinders, then went crying to their elected officials about this awful rigged online poker. Could that have anything to do with the current troubles?

I am sort of enjoying this. Although you didn't directly bring "THIS" onto your heads, you were all working hard toward it. The government just hastened the process.

This is true of most of the recreational players unfortunately. Don't delude yourselves too much longer. Its not the end of online poker - but it sure as hell isn't going to contribute positively to the pool of $$ in play.

Sharpen up your B&M skills and get used to playing without HUD's and stats at your disposal. For the 3/4 of you that under 21....sit back and age.

I believe Tuff is from USA. There is a rest of the world, but you will lose a significant chunk of revenue with the US market gone. Hopefully some of the asian markets open up some more.

I made a lot of adjustments to my game.

I did become better. One of the adjustments was to quit making videos which distracted from my playing.

I still got caught once in a while, which caused no end of glee to some here. But I was no longer a reliable donator. Now even I am gone. The real fish have been gone a while in case you haven't noticed.

I am not bitter. I did get tired of online poker being a game of attrition with me against the machine like hudbots.

Your problem is that I (and all like me) aren't gonna be here anymore. I play poker for entertainment, not to grind out profits nut peddling and folding all day.

Enjoy your new life. Most of you will become the new fish food for the handfull of real pros.

Wow I always thought you seemed like a cool guy (in fact I just paid for the charity video you did for CR) but you really are coming across as a complete dick in this thread. It seems pretty obvious to me that you are currently running bad and frusterated with being a losing player - don't deny it old man. Poker is a great game that everyone should be able to enjoy - it's a joke your government is treating grown people like children - it's a sick joke, and no one needs you coming in here all cheery just because you'll now have a reason to think twice before depositing more money to lose.

I am not running bad, I am not running at all. I am not frustrated by you guys for sure. I always liked the challange even when I was getting goofy.

My government is a butt for sure. Somewhere on 2+2, I posted a letter I wrote to Duncan Hunter. And I did the unthinkable, I voted for a Democrat instead of Mr Hunter. And I will again.

The tone of your post has changed my positive opinion. For guy who just plays for fun you sound awfully bitter. Taking pleasure in what you hope is the demise of our livelyhood is classless.

You're also wrong. Like many Americans you think America is the only country in the world. Poker sites are advertising heavily all over the world and it's paying off. Sure having less American players will hurt, but I think you vastly underestimate the motivation of losing players. You would think consistantly losing money would be enough to stop them. It's not, just look at you. I think plenty of losing US players will jump through the hoops.

Not at all. But this isn't style points, misguided anger because Tuff sucks at playing cards, or Fish reveling at the agony of many who have made a great living off of dead money players like himself.

IMO, he's not taking a shot at anyone. He's telling you how it is. If you lose him, think about all the others like him you never hear about.

Ed Miller wrote an article on his blog earlier this month that talks about the online games getting tougher, evidenced by the stories of people who used to be ballers and are now busto on this and many other sites. Well, Ed's right - and it just got tougher. We lost Fish.
