All I know is that if I hit my target each week, I get an extra $6k on week 8. It wouldn't be that hard, but the Party Cruise is going to screw me over bigtime. I may pay out of the ass for the internet cafe if I have to.

If I figure it right... If I can double my target every week for 8 weeks, I will get:

Week 1: $3,060
Week 2: $3,155
Week 3: $3,250
Week 4: $3,445
Week 5: $3,825
Week 6: $4,590
Week 7: $7,120
Week 8: $9,180

Total: $37,625

Hands required each week (to double target) at $5/10 6max: 66,800 (holy crap)
Hands required each week (to double target) at $10/20 6max: 38,100 (still holy crap)

Looks like I'll be making the jump back to $10/20 a lot sooner than I thought. Works out to about 12.5 cents per hand.

Luckily, I don't have to double my target, but it's nice to know I could make a lot if I ended up doing it.

PS - I'm really hoping a week is Wed-Tues as that makes it a lot easier with the cruise.

I messed that up. It's half of that if I double my target every week. It's somewhere around 16-18 cents per hand if I just meet my target every week.

Since it's Weds to Tues each week you still have a chance to pull it off even with the cruise in there.


That's a helluva lot of play though and you will really have to kill yourself to do it for all 8 weeks.


I would seriously consider just blowing it off actually.
except you are already committed to getting in your 100k hands for Feb so that changes things for you.


If they can't adjust my goal I don't think I'm doing mine because it's just too damn hard (13005 points for $525...and I play 3/6 at gold-level)

I agree, I think this is a good bonus. I got $650 but I have to earn 18670 points a week. That ends up being 311 $215 SNGs which is a bit much, but its understandable that they want to push their players further.

19k total hands per week at 10/20 6max to hit the bonus every week. Not that impossible, really. The week right before and after the cruise are going to be tough as crap though.

Hey Newt, I am lazy. How many 215s is 27000 points? You are a gold member, right? So if 311 SNGs is 18670, I need about 465?

Yeah, looks like Party finally got this right.

My offer: I'm at Silver, $210 for 4820 points. At 18 points per $55 SnG, this works out to 34 sets of 8, or 5 sets per day. No problem.

Double that, 10 sets per day. A nice challenge. Or an incentive to move up.

Total possible bonus is $4200, or a little over $500 per week. Which is my weekly nut. Nice.

Check "my account" on the Web site. They might tell you in a special section like they did for Santa's Party Pack.

Otherwise, you can just add it up each day from the Party Points report that is always there. Regluar points only, though, so check the detailed report.

I like it a lot, I am usually lazy and dont play enough hands and if this forces me to play a lot to get a magic 1.5K bonus in 2 months it will end up making a fair amount of dough, maybe even more than RB would since I would be playing tons of hands.

It does not accumulate each week, the numbers they give are the total extra bonus paid based on the number of total weeks you meet your target.

This is clear because they say the max you can win for everything is 20x your target, and the final extra bonus is 4x.

I have 155$ for 1310 points. I play NL. 1310 points takes roughly 9k total hands regardless of the limit. 9k hands per week for 8 weeks will equal: 1860$. 18000 hands per week will equal 3100. so- 72,000 hands over 8 weeks will get me 1860$. 144,000 hands will get me 3100$. doesnt quite seem that mindblowing in those terms, but again if it motivates me to play that many hands the increased money I win from playing 72000 hands in 2 months instead of being lazy will be worth a lot.

note- i used approximations for my last 30k hands for what % of hands are raked, about 73%. so 9k hands means 9k total, not raked.

I think Jma plays NL, and it is much much harder to earn points playing NL. it isnt as good as it sounds, especially if you play 5/10 or 10/20 where in proportion to the rake you play you get very few points.

One thing --

They say that when you get your bonus, they "redeem" your points. I fear that means they are used up and no longer available for buying things in the store. Not sure though, so I emailed them to ask about this. Will post an update when I get an answer.

p.s. on the whole, not a bad offer. effectively about 21% ra**ba** for me - provided i meet the target each week - and I'm only a silver member. would be over 27% if i were a gold member.
