February POG Championship: Rock, Paper, Scissors
Sorry this didn't go before. This thread is to signup for the competition to become POG Champion for the month of February. I will run a rock-paper-scissors tournament. Throws will be done one at a time and in the game thread (not this thread) you may say as much as you like about what you will and won't do.
Seeding will be based on Madtown's December tournament. POG Caboose will be determined by having a losers' bracket where the loser of every match advances. |

don't understand the losers bracket. Does that mean if I lose the final and then my only game in the losers bracked I'm caboose? |

If you lose your first round match then you go to the losers' bracket. If you win one match then you cannot be caboose. It's only for people that didn't win any matches. Depending on the number of people that signup it's likely that some people will get a bye. If that happens, they still go to the losers' bracket with a loss in their first match. |

in I think I'm going to play for caboose [/ QUOTE ] Just keep annoucing your real pick in thread - it would be interesting to see if you would win your first round match using this method or not....You would be extremely unlikely to survive round 2 however |

Re: February POG Championship: Rock, Paper, Scissors
out. 90% of the players will play unexploitable strategies so it will be an n-way coin flip where n > 30. Bleh.
On a side note, in college a friend of mine made a RPS game in about 5 minutes that could just destroy humans. It had about 50% wining throws v. everyone who played it. (They could get to even using DeBrolie sequences for their throws) Also, ther is an RPS game at Shotgun Rules that you can practice at. |

In for RPS.
My month as ultimate loser is over. Could somebody please put me back to the way I was? Edit: Thanks! Hope my new av isn't too close to Amp's (although I don't think anyone should be complaining about this one). |
