Was hoping for a Chiefs win today. Indy is the only playoff team that really scares me as a Ravens fan.

Over/under on number of times we hear the phrase "unstoppable force vs. immovable object" this week?

Interesting that you say that because down the stretch I was hoping for any scenario that would allow the Ravens to meet the Chargers before the Colts because the Colts matchup so much better against the Ravens than the Chargers.

Its still a ways off from becoming reality, but I'm already feeling weird about the possibility of rooting for the Patriots next week. Not sure how I'd feel about that one.

Unless the Colts defense looks like they did in the KC game, again, and Peyton Manning looks like the best football player in the league (which he is) the Colts really don't have a shot.

Hmmm, I think Baltimore should be favored by more than that. They had a +3.1 pythagorean win differential in the regular season and home field advantage.

1.5 is much more realistic line. Manning has only thrown 3 picks in a game 12 times. 3 of them were in his rookie season. Last week was the first time they won a game that he threw 3 INTs.

I've been driving around a bit today and to a few places / stores / gas stations, and let me tell you that there is a playoff atmosphere surrounding this area. Not just Baltimore, but anywhere within the greater Baltimore area. Flags, jerseys, purple everywhere. Radio, TV - it's inescapable.

Mind you I'm not a Ravens fan, but if you don't feel the electricity in the area today, you just don't feel.

But really, I have no idea why the Ravens want to run on the Colts. Not only can the Ravens not run the ball in the first place, the Colts pretty much stack the middle of the field.
