Thank you to all STTF-USP attendees

To all who attended the USP this weekend I would like to extend a gracious thank you.

My house was treated well and has no permanent signs that a party occured.

All of the female USP staff called me the following day and told me that they enjoyed themselves and thought we were a great group of guys. Everyone was generous and respectful in their interactions with the ladies. This is really important to me as it makes it so much easier to recruit dancers/bartenders/cocktail waitresses for future events.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to Velocity and futuredoc85 for their hard work as event reporters. I look forward to reviewing some of the interesting hands.

I had such a great time and enjoyed the company of this crowd so much that I can't wait to start planning for HUC III. I will probably hold it in March, so stay tuned for sign-up information.

Finally, I would like to congratulate Bones on his victory. It would be very difficult to find a tougher 8-player field for a one-table tournament and he played the best poker of the group.

2 people were late for the limo pick-up but made it because I'm nice and waited for them.

2 people missed the limo pick-up because I wasn't quite nice enough to wait any longer... but showed up to the party only a few minutes after everyone else.

1 person had a family emergency that delayed his arrival, but he ended up making it.

ImSolucky0 is the only STTFer who signed up and didn't show up.

We traded imsolucky0 for EM2 anyways.

Everyone ruled, everyone had a good time.

I also hear you had a fantastic dealer

Craig,
Thanks so much again for putting this on. I forgot how much I miss Vegas and I'm so happy I actually got to make it out. You did an awesome job of planning this and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say you sir pwn at life.

Great job and props to Irieguy for setting this up - it was a blast. Although I really thought I had money in the bank when it was down to three-handed and Irieguy had more than a 2-1 chip lead on the other two combined. (I had a piece of Irieguy-s last-longer)

So I hate Bones for winning coinflips!

Oh, and my favorite part of the evening was turning Durr on to NL double-flop Hold'em!

Yes, Craig is an awesome dude. I'm glad Bones was able to convince him I wasn't a douchebag.

I look forward to PLAYING HU challenge III.

Thanks again Craig for putting this on and organizing everything. Oftentimes when things run smoothly like your events, it's hard for people to appreciate how attention to details/good planning & execution can go a long ways towards making events like these memorable ones. Good vibes, good times.

Irie, thanks for hosting this man it was sick. Jbrochu, no fountainswim, actually the only bet i made was a hundo w/ apathy on Andrew to win when he and bones had even stacks. I would have won the last longer as far as leaving the rhino last along w/ apaty and pasterbator (huge high card FISH) @ 6:30 AM if there had been one . Also im pretty sure id win highest % of my roll spent @ the rhino / . Full trip report coming but flight is boarding and also peter and lacky i will ship on stars when i get home but i didnt have my laptop as i left it in craig's house and didnt get it till today. Also, i will now laugh at least like 2 mins every time FJ makes a post about running bad>

I'm sure that all evidence of the thread has been deleted, but chuddo was responsible for the first "trainwreck" thread in OOT. Details are sketchy, but IIRC he posted a picture of a girl that he went out with that was linked to her MySpace account, and OOTers attacked and harassed the girl in a way that only OOTers can. I think her name was Olivia.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ham/fab4he.jpg

Chuddo made some statement about "pounding her like a hammer." It was pure comedy gold, but alas it was deleted.
