Villain in this hand is an unknown, and I'm hero. whats best here? lead (and try for b3b)? c/c? c/r?

i like to get a little creative when stacks are this size. I prob b-c - c/r AI, hit or miss.

I would go for b3b.

if villain doesn't know me, im very tempted to check/call - check/raise bc it makes everyone [censored] their pants even though i mostly only take this line with draws.

i dont like b3b, any hand that raises us is snap calling a push.

I like to take this line on paired boards with a 9-Q on them

scary [censored].

Any reads on villian? I like to c/r here a good portion of the time and decide if I want to follow threw If I whiff turn. c/c and lead any turn is a weird line I might take here depending on the villian

also the good thing about this line is that if he checks behind on the turn you get a free card AND you might even have the best hand. i think this is an important effect of good check/raise lines - you go from a 'value check' to a semibluff on the same street.

the ONLY way our ace is good if it all gets in on the flop is if the villain has KK. so I don't like lead 3-bet.

I would check-call. check-fold.

I like c/r or b/c and lead the turn vs unknowns. I think b3bing an unknown in this spot is probably my least favorite line.

Not enough money in the stacks for this. I think c/r gets you all or nothing.....

I have a line that I love in these situations. I weak lead the flop (that way he will raise with hands that missed as well as his strong hands) when he raises I shove the lot in. So I would lead $14-$16 but hoping to get the lot in.

By making a normal sized bet in you only get raised by hands that have decent equity against you and are more likely to feel pot committed as their raise will be a decent portion of their stack. I want the weak hands to raise too that cannot call my shove profitably.

If he just calls the weak lead then I lean towards potting any turn but this is more read dependant.

I C/R, we got AI, he had AQ and I didn't hit.

tbh, I rly don't like my line here, as i'm drawing to 9 outs too often i think. But, I'm still not sure what the best line is

This was just not the best of spots. AQ was the only one pair hand that you equity is not so great against. A ton of time he will fold or at least your ace outs will also be good. I still prefer bet 3 bet though as you would be more likley to play a set that way and I prefer to play my big draws and sets the same.

I think this is actually a really damn good play.

Thanks for posting it!
