Heroes 12-4-6

I really like the the start to this episode. Pretty gritty, and the double mind reading scene was sweet.

Shouldn't Peter immediately conclude that one of them can read minds?

And how do they know that they changed the future instead of saving the wrong cheerleader?

yeah, that should have been obvious to him. I guess he was probably more concerned about Claire's well-being

I really like Cylar, a good twist would be if he was one of the good guys.

It's Sylar (as we see on the watch) but there is no way he can be good. The guy takes peoples' brains. He might play some sort of helpful role in the future, but the dude takes peoples' brains. No one who chops open heads and takes brains could really be a good guy. Though it would be cool.

Continuation of season 1. Lots of shows are doing this nowadays, to prevent the standard re-runs during the season.

i think the next episodes will still be "season 1", just like prison break's first season

I couldn't tell if it was just from hillbilly's powers or if it was the fact that he was suddenly absorbing the powers of like six different heroes all at once. Either way, interesting.

Why was Sylar suddenly able to use his powers?

I think the pixie chick turned off whatever needed to be turned off so that she could use her powers. Brilliant!

how did sylar get his powers back? anyone know? ok thanks

Re: Heroes 12-4-6

I think Claire's dad has some sort of blocking ability that compliments the Haitian's mind-blanking ability.
Not too sure though.

Anyway, when the idiot persuasive chick goes in to be all heroic, she instantly gets owned by him and his powers.

Doesn't explain why he couldn't break out when unsupervised though. He did have to use her to break the glass though.

Do we know the identities and powers of all 6 of the dead heroes from Suresh's list?

Re: Heroes 12-4-6

I can't take it anymore!!!!

Ok so I'm caught in a real dilemna tonite as much as I'm into this show I'm also a big Mavericks fan and into fantasy basketball (4 Mavs on my team, I know I'm a homer) so right around 8 o'clock the Mavs have cut a 31 point defecit to only 14 points with a little over 5 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter. For those who aren't big sports fans this would be one of the all time comebacks in NBA history.

Still I love heroes I flip over to NBC meaningless jibber jabber on Deal or No Deal back to the Mavs game. A steal and score down to 12 points than moments later 9 points. They call a timeout over to Heroes and I see a cool dream sequence I think with Peter and his brother oh no wait it's Sylar pretending to be Peter's brother. Very Cool than a commercial I get back to the Mavericks game time is winding down and they've cut the lead to 7 points.

Again for those of you who aren't big sports fans the last 90 seconds of any competitive basketball game really lasts more like 10 minutes.

All of that was to set up this. I switch back to Heroes and it's another dumb@ss scene with that stupid blonde stripper chick and her split personality, BORING! I mean I swear to God Kleenex should buy time for like product placement on that show as much as this crybaby is balling and quivering her bottom lip. It's so bad, it's a total mood killer for me. Just like if you're were watching some hot porn and someone splices in some gay porn right in the middle of it. Like get that crap out of here, I was enjoying myself until you showed up. That's exactly how I feel about the whole stupid Ali Larter/Father/son triangle power struggle. It's the turd in the pool.

So after that I flipped back to the Mavericks and stayed with the post game show for another 30 minutes, because of the dumb turd in the pool. I flipped back and caught the last 10 minutes or so, but this show is killing itself with that stupid bimbo IMO.

Aaaaaaahhhh, that felt good to get that off my chest. I'll sleep better 2nite.

You have to think that, since the Hatian isn't on the premises 100% of the time, there has to be something else working it. I don't know how they'd get a machine to do it, but whatever. It'd be nice if they explained it.

That was a quality ep. I don't know wtf was going on in NYC at the end, but it seemed cool. Ditto for Hiro vs. T-rex.

The cop trying extra hard to read thoughts was high comedy.

very good end episode
this +Lost =favorite this season...though another Jack will soon be added to this list.

Pixie girl shooting herself was awesome..if Sylar gets her ability...game over.

Re: Heroes 12-4-6

That starting scene was pretty sweet, same goes for Peter using the cop's mind reading ability.

It was pretty smart of the girl to kill herself once she realized it was either she shoot her brains out or have Sylar absorb them. I wonder if the Haitian really is working under Claire's father's orders - he seems really sketchy. And then the whole "can you keep a secret?". Anyone have an idea if he's going to wipe out her recent memories?

Re: Heroes 12-4-6

Characters I dig:

Hiro
Peter
Ando
Peter's older and somewhat neutral brother
Really chill Haitian dude
Dad
Claire-shes hot, underage, and cheerleader outfit...yum--but her character is annoying.
Pixie chick...her character was cool...but of course they killed her.

Characters I can't stand
Sylar--hes played by such a lame actor...Sean Bean would have been so much cooler.
Morroco Dude
Ali Larter...shes hot but character super annoying
DL..just cuz hes always got the annoying kid around
Chunky Cop and his butch looking female partner

So the pixie chick shot herself in the head? I thought it was Sylar telekinetically turning the gun on her.

As far as keeping a secret, the Hatian doesn't want to wipe Claire's memory, and he needs her to shut up about it for the good of both of them.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's racist.

Anyway, my theory is that he was asked to wipe her memory clean by dad as a "fatherly" protection type of thing. I think Haitian dude knows she is important to whatever happens in the future so he can't do that. Also, I think it is important to note that Haitian probably doesn't work for the father, that there is ultimately someone else in charge. (Based on the phone conversation dad was having as he left Sylar's cell).

Also, not sure about the ending. If the explotion is Peter and it is caused by all the heroes being in the same place, why would they be set on this journey in the first place? It is not like all of these people would have come together in NYC without them being brought together. Kind of confusing.
