I could understand locking for liability issues, but there are in fact several doctors who read these fora, in addition there are even more people who have suffered from hernias, and probably a few people who have had similar symptoms that were not hernias who read these fora.

* must be for some other reason. I guess OOT is consuming too much 2p2 bandwidth and they are trying to reduce OOT readership / participation.

I haven't gone to the ER yet because I can't afford it, I have to wait until the clinic opens in the morning. Because half the doctors at clinics don't know anything, I'd like to have some idea of what is wrong with me before I go in at 8am today.

I've had a lift induced hernia before. Requires surgery in most cases. If its severe it almost feels like you have a third nut, results from a hole that causes your intestine to expand into your groin area/sometimes other areas. Basically, the doctor's can't do [censored] for you until you get the surgery, besides give you pain killers. The surgery sucks ass, you can't walk for 2 days afterword or do basically any hard physical activity for about 6 months (I wasn't allowed to run for 6 months afterword). Any nurse/med student worth his salt knows how to check for hernias. You can do it yourself, cradle your nuts/area you think is infected, cough really hard you should be able to feel the difference if you have a hernia.

Anyways, figured I'd give a real reply to your question, while everyone else hates on OOT.

Most BBV threads are lame, but they become funny because of the people who post in them. OOT is kinda the opposite. The threads are sometimes interesting ideas but they become lame when all the OOT people contribute.
