Re: Is this hand a AK leak example?
How much does villian bluff? He seems to be pretty aggressive but that doesn't say much about his bluffing. You raised PF and bet the flop. Now he donks the turn..I'd say he probably has a pair although he MIGHT be trying a steal with JT or something. Still I would fold turn because if you call there you are either tying yourself to the river or hoping to improve, which you do not have odds to draw to.

Re: Is this hand a AK leak example?
This is no time for an AK-high calldown IMO. Fold the turn. In a small pot like this, you're behind far too often to make it profitable.

Re: Is this hand a AK leak example?
If I am showdown bound I often raise the turn and check behind on the river. You still get to showdown and you gain some fold equity and you can easily toss if 3-bet.

Re: Is this hand a AK leak example?
Smallish pot, dry board probably point to folding the turn. However, I'm susceptible to paying off this line once I've seen someone do it and fold me out when defending against me. I agree with your river call once you make the turn call.

Yes.

Re: Is this hand a AK leak example?
Flop bet is fine but I would fold the turn.

Re: Is this hand a AK leak example?
I'd probably find a fold here. The pot is small and very often you se a pair here.
If I strongly think he's bluffing, I would raise the turn and check behind the river or fold to futher bets/raises. |
Re: Is this hand a AK leak example?
I'd fold the turn unless I had some kind of read that he donks crap on the turn. This is a pair very often from an unknown.

Re: Is this hand a AK leak example?
the only thing you beat that is reasonable is JT.

Re: Is this hand a AK leak example?
I would without a doubt fold turn to an unknown. But if I would go to the river it makes much more sense to raise turn.
You punish a draw donk. You punish outright bluffs. And you still never pay more than 2 BB since you can fold to a 3-bet and to a river donk. And if you hit you can even get one more bet. |
