In my reload e-mail that I received from Party, they mentioned that the Party Store was closing Jan 16th.

"Please note: The PartyPoints Store will be closing on January 16, 2007, so log in now to redeem your points and grab some great Party merchandise."

Wow, it's really true, just checked my email. Seems weird, I just noticed they added dvd's and cd's. Anyway how much were those butt plugs?

Well I liked the xbox 360 so I ordered one of those.. Guess its a core version, but still when it is for free then it is nice.. They did say something about that you will be able to turn your PP to cach son too. Someone who know when that will happen?

I emailed Party Poker if that was true.
Here is the response:

The PartyPoker.com merchandise store bot not going to close down. The store was closed for a while as it was under maintenance. Now its working fine and you can redeem your points at any given point of time.

They've been the second biggest site since the pulled out. I guess FT had a few days here and there where it's peak was higher. I don't think they are going anywhere though.

FTP took over that spot sometime in the last week or so. Both peak players and 7 day avg players. Party's losing players and FTP continues to gain (albeit much slower than the couple weeks after party shut us US players).

Actually FTP has been the 2nd biggest for about a week and a half straight now.

If there's one thing they know, it's marketting. Once they go bananas in countries such as Greece, Spain, Italy whatever we'll get a ton of new people to Party. Also northern Europe such as Germany. Then as soon as China opens up, I can almost guarentee you that Party will be ahead in the marketting.

I agree. I would guess that FTP will be long gone before PP. FTP is going to bail the USA market, just a matter of time. They are begging affiliates to send them non-US players. Once they leave the USA market, they might as well close up shop.

I just e-mailed them asking if it was the core or premium version and they said premium which makes this an awesome deal cause it's worth $300-400 on ebay. Here's the e-mail:

Why on earth would they shut down the store now, when they should be doing everything they can to drum up new business and keep hold of what they have left after their ridiculous decision to quit the US market.

The exchange rate would be an absolute joke but it would better than the poor excuse of a merchandise store they have now!

When I looked they were 70,000 points. A hip flask was 10,000. How much is a hip flask?
