I'm a huge Auburn fan, Auburn grad, and I don't see anything that tells me that Auburn can come back and win this game.

Georgia will have to lose it, and they're firing on all cylinders (like most Auburn opponents this year, they're playing above their heads).

Agreed. He looks pathetic.

Auburn doesn't like morning games, for some reason.

He doesn't get enough on his throws in any game. I just don't think he has enough arm to be a starting QB. Even more frustrating that we played off your WRs in our game.

It's not Cox, IMO.. .it's the line. The line is pathetic. 4 sacks?

Uh, not Cox? He has the weakest arm in the league. 2 of the picks have been his fault. That last one he threw in to coverage even it doesn't get tipped.

He's been sacked 4 times! He's pressured just about every play. He hadn't thrown an interception in 3 games or something like that (not bothering to look it up). Mind you they weren't very good teams, but neither is Kentucky (against which GA QB through 3 interceptions).

I think he's got ankle trouble, and the pressure he's feeling in the pocket is making him rush his throws. In this game he sucks, but if the offensive line could keep the pressure off him he'd do better.

SEC = jopke

Colorado almost beat Georgia who whomped Auburn. Ergo obv Colorado could be Auburn.

Lets get one of those guys who's into beatpaths to weigh in.

Okay, so Auburn, in one game has left any kind of National Championship/BCS discussion (not that they were IN it, but they were in the general vicinity), SEC Championship concerns... so all that is left for us is to beat Alabama. If we do that, all is good.

That's not the way it works in the SEC, tho. In the SEC just about any team could beat any other team on any given day, no matter rankings, schedule, standing, yada yada. So much emotion comes into the game that all that garbage about 'skill' and 'preparation' becomes secondary.

And I don't really count bowl games as any kind of indication of how one conference plays another (of course I only say that because SEC sucks in bowlgames).

Tennessee does the same line ... probably long before the Gators had a respectable program.

Re: Official Week 11 College Football Thread

This Auburn loss will makes things interesting when the BCS has to decide who the second team is to come out of the SEC.

Right now, you figure the Michigan/Ohio State loser is in, leaving three spots for the runners up from the Pac 10, SEC, and Big East along with Notre Dame and Boise State.
