Re: Flopped the nuts... bad turn, what\'s the plan?
I'd bet again since the flush missed on the turn. Bet $5 or $6.

Lead again. Call or fold to shove depending on your read.

Re: Flopped the nuts... bad turn, what\'s the plan?
I check-called the turn, and the river was even worse... what now?

Re: Flopped the nuts... bad turn, what\'s the plan?
I call, your lead out on the flop, followed by a c/c, he's betting any scare card. I call it, you win more than 25% of the time.

Re: Flopped the nuts... bad turn, what\'s the plan?
The river is irrelevant at this point because you didnt play the turn correctly. I would still call and pay off a full house.
|
Re: Flopped the nuts... bad turn, what\'s the plan?
You say I didn't play the turn correctly yet you a worried about a FH. Do you bet/fold the turn?
|
Re: Flopped the nuts... bad turn, what\'s the plan?
I called he showed AQ and MHIG.
I just can't find anyway to get any more money in on this board though... the reaons I c/c'ed the turn is because be could easily bluff me off it if I bet. |

[/ QUOTE ] He could, but since this is NL25 he probably won't. Baluga's Theorem and such. You have to protect against the flush draw, and get value for you're straight. Lead out. |
Re: Flopped the nuts... bad turn, what\'s the plan?
$7 on the turn. T didn't change too much.

$7 on the turn. T didn't change too much. [/ QUOTE ] Me too. Also lead flop for full pot, there are lots of cards you don't want to see on the turn. Chances of villain having boated on the turn are pretty slim. If you eliminate AA/QQ from preflop action, he's down to AT/QT for the boat. And he has to fear the possibility of you having boated, so if you lead turn for close to full pot and are raised big, you can probably give it up. But by leading you price draws and get value from AQ/JTs, etc. |
Re: Flopped the nuts... bad turn, what\'s the plan?
This is an auto-bet on the turn for me. He has been nothing but passive and you are seeing monsters.
