Faith Hill\'s Reaction at the CMAs- Real or a Joke?
 

Faith Hill's reaction to losing at the Country Music Awards

If we have any country music fans in OOT, perhaps they can shed some more light on this. Whether her reaction is genuine or a joke, it's a good laugh.

The award given to Carrie Underwood reminds me of Tiger Woods' trophy from a few years ago.

I believe it was a joke b/c when they were announcing the nominees she was laying it on real thick the "surprise" of it all and then started laughing at herself. So then when she lost, which she probably knew she was going to (she was probably second to last to win this thing) she continued the ongoing joke.

also, it appears real because despite the different background and setting. apparently she had just performed before the award and was backstage and assumed she had won.

It would've been better if she burned the envelope like Charlie Rich did in the 70's when John Denver won Entertainer of the Year during the CMAs

i wondered the same thing. a lot of people have an opinion (one way or another) about britney and certainly mr soon-to-be-ex spears. figured it was certainly newsworthy and would get a good response.

i guess NT is a country fan.

I'm a FH fan from many years ago. I've gone off her a bit now.

Word is though that she's a terrible drunk at these sort of events. I think a couple of years ago she forgot her own words to a song she was singing. Don't know, maybe it's a joke. But I wouldn't discredit the chance at it being real.

There's a flash of anger on her face that is not fake. She's trying to save face, but that anger was real. She was pissed.
