Well, its November, aka my month of birth, so its obviously the best month in the calendar. I know I haven't been posting much, or even playing much. I'm kind of on hiatus until I move, which my current most serious consideration is Vancouver, as thats apparently the place to be in North America. I'm sure ill get back on track at some point, but then again, who says I am off of it if I am having a good worry-free time. I wish the rest of you a stress-free November, and plenty of money to those who put the time in.

Alright, October has come to an end and it went pretty well. Right now I am very tempted to move up to 3/6. I'll prob jump back and forth between them. TY all you brown trout for letting me take all your money at 2/4 NL 6max on stars. PS. Playaplz, you never message me on AIM. If you are reading this, PM me. K thx.

For november I'd like to be comfortable playing 3/6 and hopefully show some profit. I'd also like to up my postflop aggression. On top of all that.. make more money.

I am going to put together a nasty November. Someone tell me a sick amount I cannot win at 400NL. $40k? $50k? I want to play 75k hands at Stars and 25k hands at Tilt with my new setup (arriving soon).

I'm going to play nasty good too, so get the hell out of my way.

I am not sure what types of numbers I can achieve really playing at FT and UB but I am really going to concentrate on getting better and moving up this month.

Football ends in just over a week and a half and I have decent rolls on the sites to be able to start moving up quickly now.

I was getting very good over the summer but have really stagnated and played bad/ran worse over the last few months but I feel like I am poised to make a big breakthrough.

So with that said, my goal is to play >50k hands and win >30k dangos. Be mixing 5/10 to my 2/4 and 3/6 games as well. Hopefully be completely done w/ 2/4 for like the fifth time after I win 10k more at the beginning of the month.

Goals: make at least $20k, make 3/6NL my regular game (with a full bankroll), and DONT TILT OFF ALL MY MONIES LIKE LAST MONTH.

Little exagerrated, but w/o tilt I woulda owned up last month.

Lots of $. Grind 10/20nl at least the first part of the month before hopefully moving back up to higher stakes.

$1/hand is probably a good goal for most MSNL ballas.

$1/hand is more or less unattainable for all but the elite MSNL players. how many people really make 8.33 ptbb at 3/6 or 5 ptbb at 5/10? i think most people have a tendency to look at their best month or best 30k hand stretch or whatever and assume that's their winrate. looking at that big db opened my eyes to this. so many of the 3/6 and 5/10 regulars on party winning 20 cents a hand taking pretty big variance when they could be winning that much with no variance at 200NL. bbv has glorified the idea of moving up as fast as possible, or whenever you have x buyins, rather than when you're ready. i think we're going to see a lot of peoples' egos cause them to get buried with these new, tougher games when they can't admit to themselves that they're marginal winners, and wind up getting swallowed by the inevitable 40 buyin downswings that we're going to start seeing, even at midstakes. just like all those 1000+ BB downsiwngs we've been seeing from limit players

this is obviously not directed at you. i've always admired your willingness to move up and down depending on how you're playign and running. it's just the idea that these types of winrates are commonplace. it's none of my business what other peoples' goals are, but i find it's a lot easier to cope with losing and running bad when i'm actually honest with myself about how i'm playing and what my actual expectation is

not sure the reason for the sup, but from your posts i'd guess you're one of those elite MSNLers i was referring to. most of us are not. i hope people don't take my post the wrong way. i'm not hating. i just saw so many people get buried when the limit games started dryign up and i hope it doesn't happen here.
