TMX Elmos,- optimal way to sell...
 

Ok, so after waiting at TRU this morning at 5am , I now have 4 TMX Elmos and a Wii preorder(the wii is going to be mine).

Anyhow, I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice on how to maximize profit , as I've never sold anything on ebay.

From using the search function, I figure that I should wait until late November. But I didn't see much else.

Anyone have any advice?

my group got 12 and we are gonna wait until December after the last shipment comes in, as then parents will know ebay is the only way to go

they are $99 on ebay now, but that could double or more 2-3 weeks before xmas

Why not sell them now and have cash to by 12 more with the next shipment?

if he has the money to buy 12 right now thats a terrible idea if he thinks he can hold them for a month and get double the price.

I have more than enough money to buy more, and at TRU, I waited for a wii preorder for 3 hours, then went to the elmo line, had about 50 people in it, limit 2 per customer, and I waited about 20 minutes in that line.

I will get more as shipments come in, but I have no need to sell now for more.

how do you keep track of the shipments and when they come in?

Just gotta call around the different stores every few days, see if they are getting them in.

the TRU i got them from had 114 and there were basically at least 100 gone before the store opened; earliest elmo-only campers got there 10:30 the night before (for an 11am opening when we fell-back, so 13.5 hours of camping out)...

even if there are more shipments, they will be gone within a few minutes of stores opening, leaving a void again
