Re: tricky AA river spot
Why not bet flop ,any reads you have that made this line a better choice? If you take a line like that i am c/c´ing river.
As played i am floding to raise if no reads. |
Re: tricky AA river spot
Bet flop please. I'm folding to river raise.

Re: tricky AA river spot
ya, i agree, river raise should be a fold. I just didn't know if i should be proud or dismayed when he flipped over KJ and I took it down.

Re: tricky AA river spot
Why do people 3bet pf and then check a harmless flop? Play the flop correctly and maybe the other streets play a little easier.

[/ QUOTE ] No... you don't define your hand, the pot is already large so it would be terrible to get caught in a situation like this and fold the best hand. The main problem here is that the pot is large and you should bet. Villian is more likely to make a mistake, and we build a pot with what is likely the best hand. Checking in a large pot with the best, but vulnerable hand (you only have one pair afterall), is not the correct play. In this case, it ends up as the perfect play because we get his whole stack, but it isn't correct based on the information posted. |
