Baby Survey!

Hey guys,

I'm doing a school project at U.C. Berkeley, and we're trying to gauge the market for babies (yes, I know the results from 2p2 are prob going to be skewed - we just want rough data at this point). I'd really appreciate it if those with babies (or young children) or those who know parents of newborn babies could answer some of these questions.

Thanks ahead of time!

I think you are missing your target demographic by posting this poll on a forum filled with 18-24 year old single males.

I have a 19-month old daughter, and answered 1 on all, but you would get far different results from my wife. She belongs to at least two online mothering groups, at least one of which doesn't allow men to join. My point is that I think men are less into the parenting-networking thing than women.

BASTARD

Re: Baby Survey!

Actually, the target demographic would be those males in the mid 20's age group that would become parents (esp. because our generation is increasingly electronically oriented). To clarify, my question is geared toward couples, so if the wife is very interested, then I'd consider that a 5.

Thanks for the responses!

Do you want me to take your poll if I am a 21 year old single male with no kids?

I'm pretty sure that the joy of parenthood isn't going to make me want to give away all of my kid's information, so I voted 1 for all.

On second thought, privacy's not a big deal to me, as the government has that information anyhow. I would rather give a serial killer my personal information than them.

By privacy, I'm talking about keeping your baby's information private. Can you clarify what you mean?

Can we have a monthly OOT competition for worst poll? Winner gets exiled for 30 days.

Yes, I'd be interested in everyone's opinion. Just assume you have a baby. Like another poster said, I think this is more along the lines of what your wife would be interested in.

Your own poll seemed to go "2,1,3". Throw stones much?

I use rock-paper-scissors to regularly settle disputes around the house, if that counts.
