Mercy me, Isn’t That Great?
Is it possible that two of the more high profile and more attractive players are a couple? Yesterday, at an event at the Venetian, we saw two top non-American pros being very cozy with each other. Most of the speculation at the media table centered on this, instead of the event we were all attending. With everything going on in poker at the moment, we figured some fluff like this is exactly what everyone could use.


Are they taking about Isabelle (Mercy Me?) and Gus (isn't that Great?) ????

I recall some Pokerstars article by Isabelle where she mentioned working with Gus Hansen's book project he later abandoned. She said she learned a great deal from him.

Speaking if which, I was playing $15-30 LHE at Bellagio late Saturday night and walked right by Gus. I thought the dude was like 6'2 or so, but he's only about 5'9 or so. I badly wanted to slap his bald head ala Benny Hill on that old bald man.

I was at Bellagio and saw Gus approched by a poker fan and he asked gus for his autograph. Gus dug around his pockets for something to sign, but could only find cash and a condom.

I'd bet the percentage of people 18-35 who know what a fluffer is is higher than the percentage of people 35+ who do.
