Bodog Rakeback clear up

There is miscommunication about bodog, they do offer rakeback for new sign ups. Typically it's impossible to get it if you already have an account. Hopefully this clears up the questions I've seen repeated over 2+2.

what percentage?

Re: Bodog Rakeback clear up

I have seen anywhere from 20% to 25%, depending on the affiliate.

With it not being public, rates vary according to your play and stakes.

Re: Bodog Rakeback clear up

anywhere from 20-35% is the norm with the high end being ridiculous I think.

Re: Bodog Rakeback clear up

bodog tries not to have you inquire abvout rakeback. If you get it thats fine thru an affiliate. It is for new accounts only and there security team is aware of people tring to get special signup bonuses and rakeback thru a dual account etc. They are the contributed method for allocating rake/there are other sites that are better for this.

Re: Bodog Rakeback clear up

this is one of the problems...many sites start at a certain level and then pay more above acertain level...this is ok if it is by player, but it causes problems for a smaller affiliate or one just getting started at a site, since the first $10 to $20,000 are at a lower rate than the rest. an affiliate can get killed if they don't check the fine print, because if they give away 25% and only collect 20% on $10,000 it can be painful.

sunpoker does it right...they pay based on how much a player plays, and the player can tell what they have played by looking up their own stats. DARN, i miss sunpoker!

Re: Bodog Rakeback clear up

Sorry, but I'm new to this Rakeback stuff, now that I am getting into new sites since I cashed out on Party, I need some help. I think I signed up for Full Tilt rakeback with "Thisisthenuts" okay yesterday. I played some and I am waiting 48hr like they say to see what happens. I don't really know.

Anyways, I suppose I want to play bodog. So before I join, I should set up some "rakeback" thingy with them, but it doesn't appear that "Thisisthenuts" includes that site. Where should I go? I feel so old these days. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

can anyone confirm the bold statement?
in the old FAQ (FAQ) is stated "bodog, dealt, yes [bonuses deducted], no [tournament fees]."
my affiliate doesnt seem to know it either.

I received an email from rakebreak.com over the weekend requesting my Bodog account info, advising that it's possible to get RB there with an existing account. I'm waiting on a response.

When I made the chart for RRR and the FAQ here there was much debate over which method Bodog used. The consensus was dealt even though the bonus was contributed. Although it did not make sense to me that seemed to be what the majority thought. From doing the research back then I do not think anyone knows for sure. It could certainly be wrong.

Re: Bodog Rakeback clear up

[censored]. Unfortunately, it says I was signed up through an affiliate (2+2, actually), so I cant switch to a rakeback account. I KNOW I downloaded the software through the actual www.bodog.com, but somewhere along the lines I mustave misclicked on the bodog ad on this forum and had a cookie deposited. Do I have any options here, or am I out of luck for rakeback?

Razazi 10-19-2006 12:23 PM

Re: Bodog Rakeback clear up

You are out of luck I think. Bodog is pretty strict and only changes you if you are not tracked to an affiliate. But its worth a try mate.

Re: Bodog Rakeback clear up

Is Bodog rakeback affected by how much you win/lose in the sportsbook and/or casino? Also, if you are signed up under a rakeback affiliate, does this negatively affect your ability to be dealt their "square line" as opposed to their "sharp" one in the sportsbook?
