If they were going to drop it would be due to the illegality of accepting deposits not the enforcement mechanisms used on the banks. In other words, yes.

Isn't this the first site to go out of their way to let ALL of their players know that legislation has passed? Most of the other sites seem to be taking (at least for now) the "less they know the better" approach.

Either way.....this makes me very very happy.

I thought the FTP rep couldn't give a timeframe on the issue of resizable tables? Although I have very little programming knowledge, it doesn't seem like the ability to resize windows would be very difficult to add? Programmers, is this true or am I way offbase?

I just transferred my money from PartyPoker and PokerStars to FullTilt about 2 hours ago for this very reason. Even with PokerStars, there's still a chance they may shut down, but FullTilt is the ONLY major site that has pretty specifically said they are NOT shutting down.

Based on what FTP is lacking compared to other poker sites, and the rumors - resizable tables and new stuff in the FTPoint store is *hopefully* hand. The e-mail said *near* future - so you wouldn't see any changes anywhere yet.

FTP and PokerStars were always headed on the path of becoming 1/2 in the industry (in no particular order). This bill just helped to blow Party out of the way that much sooner. These sites' marketing, software, and management is the best in the business.

To the OP: was this a generic email they've sent out to their customers (if it is, I haven't received it yet) or just a reply to an email you sent them? I was just wondering if this was an official statement.

Got my email tonight as well. I have been playing there for over 2 years now and I always enjoyed their site. In those 2 years I have seen traffic on the site grow exponentially. I have a feeling I ain't seen nothing yet. I am very pumped about this announcement

As am I. I think it very likely that in a month or so Full Tilt takes a sizeable majority of the business that Party is ditching.

I have one big fear...that they will get a big increase in volume and their servers won't be able to handle it.

This is awesome. At least they're fighting. This puts a lot of pressure on PS to stay in the game too. WOO HOO! Basically this is going to come down to how stringently the republicans want to enforce their new pet law. Dems just need to win one of the freaking houses. Maybe if a few more republicans come out as pedophiles before the election...

This is fantastic. I had already made FT my temporary home while I waited on further developments. They will almost certainly become my permanent home as a result of this.
