I'm the reporter who put this story together, and I thought it would be appropriate to show this forum how local news is handling the new law. I recognize my own bias, but I tried to balance that while presenting the facts. Also, we're extremely limited on time in local news, and I tried to cram a lot in during a short span.

Good work. But i think you should ask your superiors if you could do a major piece on this topic. There could be much more material that could be done and discussed to allow viewers to form an educated opinion about this whole thing.

Who knows you could become the defacto expert on it in your local juristiction, because i think this topic will grow with time as far as TV news is concerned.

Well, I didn't cherry-pick the bite. The Republican arguments were ripe with comments like this, i.e. "click a mouse, bet the house." Still, I wonder if the average viewer thought his comment was that out of line.
