ok g000ber is like 20/18 so i don't think hes v likely to have stuff like QJdd here (also, why would he randomly push a bare flushdraw into that flop action). i obv think 99 is the far most likely hand, followed by 44 and 76dd. with the 300bb deep dude still to act, the possibility of drawing to one out when behind and not being in terrific shape anyway against straight flush draws, i thought it would be best to let it go without that much invested in it. it's aight for yall to flame me cause it's bugging the living daylight out of me since it's the biggest fold i've made in my life probably.

I've made this fold many times in PLO. I've never folded middle set on the flop in Hold-em, and i definitely wouldn't do it here.

as i read it, the only other deepstack who's relevant when you make your decision is a lagfish who you'd presumably happily get allin with.

so why are you worried? you've only got ~2k to risk vs goober-the-competent. if he has the 9s, so be it.

There are combo draws A5dd, 56dd, 78dd etc that your ahead of. Is his aggression very low post flop? You beat many hands here on a heavy draw board.

Ive folded the nuts with the nut redraw on the turn to a reraise at 10/25 deepstacked....but iw as very drunk.

I'm no balla, but on that board I would think a lot of hands would play very fast, combo draws and made hands defending against draws.

also I would think 44 and 99 would play that flop exactly the same and since you are ahead of everything else it would be an easy call.

As you said yourself, CO is a lagfish and you should be good against him and g00ber is short-stacked (how did that happen?.. regardless, that's your gift in this hand and you should have take advantage of it) so I'm not that worried about him. Even in the odd chance that one of them has you beat, the player that's the most likely to have you beat is short and the other will more than cover the loss. I think you really should've thought about this before folding.

I think the lagfish raise to the button makes it push or fold. Calling is just not an option given stack size. Button could make this move with nut flush draw or with set, and bottom set is as likely as top set. Set over set is a long-run break even prop, so I'm not folding middle set here.

Who cares what he says in the chat..this fold is still terible. Of course he DOES have 99 sometimes, but not nearlllly often enough.

If the 4 was a 6, then you can THINK about possibly folding, but as such, I really hate the fold. Not the he's doing it alot, but sometimes goober is RR'ing PF with the 99, which would make me feel a bit better about going all in, but since you obv wanted your bet to be contruead as weakness, why fold when it is? He is going to have a hand like A5 67, 68, or 78 diamonds FAR more often than 99 IMHO, especially vs the lagfish.

I don't play at these levels, but I have noticed a recurring theme in the posts in this forum: "I under-represented my hand to confuse my opponents, the pot got big, and I was totally confused."
