Songs to die to...

What song, if you could choose, would be the last song you hear before dying?

Mine:
Either the piano version of "Angels or Devils" by Dishwalla, or a choral song called "Alleluia" by Randall Thompson.

The assumption here is that you might not know you were dying, correct?

Sound of Silence

And I agree. Depends on mood and how I'm dying I guess.

Whatever it is I hope the volume is very loud to drown out the chainsaw and my screaming.

Pyramid Song by Radiohead would be a decent choice.

For some reason, This is My Weakness by Moby also jumps into my head.

Erik Satie's Gnossienne #5 is a very bittersweet piece of music that might also work.

I'm having a hard time with this one.

my initial thought was "let the train blow the whistle" by johnny cash, but i'll be damned if i can think of anything that beats what a wonderful world.

it's so much better to be thankful.

i know its not what you asked, but the 1st song i thought about (definitely not one i'd choose) was The Smiths' I Know It's Over. I wonder if Morrissey and Debbie-Downer had a conversation, who would end up more depressed...
