$11 - AJo UTG with 8xbb - To donk or not to donk...
 

I know what most think about AJ as a general rule and I admit, I was so card dead to this point that I felt desperate. That and it's late and at the end of a long session. Is this a clear fold?

My stats at the time were 12/0 if that changes anything. Table was devoid of any true maniacs but CO was LAG at 55/22.

Don't have SNGPT on my laptop, need to fix that. I'm too curious to wait till monday to find out :P.

Me: I'd shove this even if SNGPT says it's slightly negative EV. Reason: This is the last hand that I have any FE. Conclusion: Leak?

its gonna be b/w +.1% and +.3% depending on how COs calling range, i push here, cause youll get calls from flips and some A9-AT typed hands , as well as KQ and KJ

I play pretty tight pre-bubble and this is no exaggeration, the best hand I had before this AJo the entire time was 910c and someone open raised 4x bb before me so I dumped it. I limped with a couple other smaller connectors earlier in the game but that's it. So I don't think 12% vpip and 0% pfr is unrealistic in this situation. Maybe I'm wrong and should have loosened up but that seems to go against the SNG theory predominant on these forums.

And for resolution, UTG+1 pushed all in behind to isolate me with AA. I hit the flush and he bitched at me for awhile for being a donk.

hes not saying your stats arent accurate, hes saying the players at the $5+$1s are such huge donkeys that they dont take table image into account during the course of a sng.

edit: $10 +$1 w/e and devin typed faster than me cause i broke my finger
