Nope, he lost the pot to the BB...
I mean, the BB is practically all-in, and he reraised my reraise and a call by a guy who is all-in with 5 high.

Which hand are you referring to and why?
The straight one?
Well, i had to adapt to the table, it was very loose, so was no point of raising a good multiway pot hand like QTs.
I could never outplay those guys, they just kept calling with bottom pairs if i raised and cbet, so i increased my vpip and decreased pfr.

Plus, i knew, that if i hit against this particular guy, he will pay me off big, hence the call of a raise.

T-God 09-18-2006 05:32 AM

Re: Dumbest bluff in history of poker?

You slowplayed JJ preflop which is very bad, and I'd raise the QTs too. Then in both you slowplayed your hands to death. Play aggro, get money in and good things happen. I know it's frustrating playing against those types of players when you miss, but you HAVE TO raise JJ pre, you would have won that hand had you raised and c-bet since they couldn't have pushed you off at that point. (results-oreiented I know but it's an example).

I hate minraising your straight on that board, lots of cards can kill your action on the turn. Since these guys never fold as you say, get the money in on the flop.

Dude, what are you talking about?

Hero is Button with J, J
Preflop: (5 players, $3)
MP calls $2, CO folds, Hero calls $2 and raises $8,

And i raised to 48 with a straight after he bet 16.
How is that miniraising??

Re: Dumbest bluff in history of poker?

Ok, i know why you got confused, this converter is different.
If i raise to 10 he writes "call 2 and raise 8" and if i raise to 48 he writes "call 16 and raise 32".

I'd suggest raising preflop with JJ instead of just calling the $2. Raising like $8 more or so would be the optimal play.

Shalom!

Oh yeah, and whatever site it is, you should really start checking in on its practices or at least keep those two SNS on. It's obvious there is some kind of collusion or some [censored] going on here, because I've never seen 35o play a hand like this on this board in my entire life. Still, terrible fold by you sir.

You are joking, right?
I raise preflop, on a board of 788 dude minbets, that raises 50 more after i reraise and another guy is allin?

What hand do i normally beat here?
It's either slowplayed QQ-AA, 77 or 8X like 95% of the time.
Who could put him on a moronic bluff like this?

Yeah, i should have done that.
I should have also reraised on the flop after his minbet, to show him i have the best hand.
That would surely make him fold his runner runner 2 pairs draw
