Seriously though, downswings in gambling are depressing. I know I have become more and more used to them in the approximately 3 years I have been seriously gambling. However, I think it will take a few more years before I can become emotionally detached from the results. Don't worry. I would guess that just about every gambler has at least felt like crying at some point after a loss.

Party is the worst though. Players spit so much venom at each other.

Yeah...

When I was doing a marathoon session (34hours) to win my WSOP seat from the PP VIP promo. At about hour 16 it was time to go cry in the bathtub.

I've gotten angry or mildly depressed, but never cried. Are you guys serious? Maybe I've never had anything bad enough happen yet. I think if I actually were to shed tears, that would be the end of poker for me.

Party has like the best software out there. I always get happy playing there. I cry a lot though on the slow games of PokerStars, Tribeca and Full Tilt

i've had some monstrous blow-ups, been extremely stressed out/depressed/frustrated, thrown stuff, hit stuff, kicked stuff .. never cried. and i totally lawled when i saw the thread title.

Yes, but on those days I take a break, make some cocoa, sit out on the deck in a comfortable chair, and scratch my little kitty cat under the chin just the way he likes it.

If this doesn't center me then I put the little fellow in one of these . I usually feel better then.

I cried whn I was 10 and my dog died on my birthday. I also cried when I was 23 in a bathtub mid marathon session on PP.

But if I had to show my Poker Tracker Histories of all the times I raised pocket aces 4 to 5x blind and got called by some guy with 6 3 off, 8 2 off, etc. there wouldn't be enough memory on the 2+2 servers.

Thank god for Poker Tracker though, which lets me know site is profitable, or I'd probably go insane. LOL.

I not only cry after playing party, but usually when I turn on the computer, start the party client, and while I'm winning or losing.

After I'm done is when the real tears come, though.

I cried when some sad romantic music came on whilst playing because a friend committed suicide due to gambling. He lost millions in 1 night in Macau after his wife committed suicide because he was having some affairs in China.

A good friend and sharp guy, shame he died so young due to womanising and gambling.

Only once.

I did after I lost $4500 playing Party BJ when I was really already depressed from other personal stuff. I haven't played a single hand of blackjack since then (until this sweet promo tomorrow).

I cried and then called up gamblers annonymous. I told them I just lost $5K on gambling. Then they asked me how much I was down overall. I said I was probably up like 40K. They told me not to call them.
